These people say this kind of thing all the time...
When TVs first came out, everyone said it would be the end of cinema....
When the iPhone came out, everyone said people would stop visiting websites....
The thing is, I have a smartphone.
It's absolutely terrible for gaming.
It doesn't have buttons.
Playing 3D games drain the battery life.
The trouble is, the bad reviewer didn't know how to play the game.
It's very unprofessional - like me giving a game 0/10 for Graphics and someone telling me that my TV was switched off.
Choice.
It allows you to see the game differently.
I think this is because the Vita's way more expensive in Europe.
In Europe, The Wi-Fi model is 250 Euros.
In the US, it is $250
250 euros = $337
So, they're giving Europeans the "free" headphones or wallet, because the console costs $87 extra.
Oh, and the 3G version costs $105 more!
Yep, also note the analyst that believes this is from a mobile phone research firm. Hardly an unbiased source. Of course they're going to pretend that handheld consoles are doomed and have no future!
I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
As a UK-resident, I'm annoyed that I don't get to play London Life....
Yep, the 3DS has sold around 7 million. That's a million for every month its been on sale. OK, it's less than Nintendo predicted, but it's still pretty good considering there's been no good games for most of that time....
Most importantly - if you look at the first 7 months of original DS, that sold less even though it was released for the holiday season.
I'd rather play a good 5 hour game that left me wanting more than a bad 100 hour game which I wouldn't finish.
I could understand the price if the game came with that extra circle pad, but it appears it doesn't.....
Yep, I've tried to avoid everything.
It could just be for the Japanese version...
It might be different over here.
Not the best commercial, but at least it shows that you can play it sitting down.
A lot of message boards were worried about that.
Good. I want the 3DS to succeed, but I hope the attachment fails - hard. At least this proves it's optional.
Thing is, Nintendo themselves rarely make shovelware - even their casual games like Wii Sports have a lot of effort put into them.
Shovelware is due to third parties wanting a piece of the Wii pie, but not willing to devote any time to making their games good. Titles like this for example.

Just because the 3DS hasn't sold as well as expected, everyone's writing Nintendo off.
Everyone seems to forget that this is the same company that last gen, sold 150 million DS consoles and 90 million Wiis - and most importantly, they've made a profit from every single sale.
Nintendo has enough money that even if the Wii U completely flopped, they'd still be able to make new consoles for another couple of gens.
Nice to see a positive 3DS article for once.
You could probably use the Classic Controller Pro with no problems.
I agree with this, but I doubt the 3DS redesign will be announced at E3 - that will probably be all about the Wii U.
IGN seem to be really pushing for Zelda voice acting at the moment - this is the third article I've read about from them moaning about it.
To be honest, I don't think they need it. Look at how fans reacted to the whiney Samus in Metroid Other M - probably the reason Nintendo ignored the Metroid 25th Anniversary.
