The Wii U won't fail. In my time, I've seen so many Nintendo is doomed articles. The hilarious thing is it never happens, and then when Nintendo release their next console, they write off their previous success as a fluke......

Remember this is the cost for manufacturing only. The cost of shipping, boxes, manuals, research and development, taxes, etc will all eat into the profit.

For starters, it's rendering a different scene on two screens simultaneously, without lag.
Let's face it, considering how poor the 3DS launch was - no games, no online shop, months of no game releases, all those articles about people getting headaches and feeling sick - the fact that the Vita is doing even worse, despite all those launch games, speaks volumes.
And if the Vita can't even beat the 3DS when it was doing bad, it has no chance of outselling it now it's doing good - especially with games like Pokemon and Monster Hunter on the way.
