Go Nintendo has a translation of one of the sections of the book now.
Well, at least they're not making you pay extra for it.
In fact, the game is cheaper with the pad... That doesn't make sense!
The 3DS sold good in the first week - the problem was the three months after that.
The launch week was OK...
In Japan, they'd sold out their entire allocation in the first two days. It was the most successful Nintendo console launch ever in America and the UK.
The problem was the three months after that. Those good first week sales didn't last.
They sold 4 million first quarter - but 3.5 million of that was in the first week.
Nope.
Yep. Despite getting it day one, I've never actually regretted my purchase.
Newest IP? "Pushmo".
Released last week.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii U came with a Wiimote to be honest. It would ensure that everyone had a motion plus controller, which means we wouldn't have to have "waggle" controls for another gen.
Well the creators said they couldn't see themselves going back to buttons after SS.
Definitely, sadly.
Hackers will see this as a challenge.
I think controller-less is pointless, but motion controls do have some point to them.
I mean, what's the point of doing a car racing game without a controller - in real life, you'd have to turn a steering wheel.
Or a golf game - in real life, you'd have to swing a golf club.
Apparently, it's a recognised thing in Japan - everyone retires or moves to another job when they hit 60.
Nice article.
Third parties have long moaned that they can't compete with Mario and Zelda, but when Nintendo delay their releases and give them 8 months to release their own games, what happens?
Just discovered some truly stunning levels made by Japanese gamers...

See, the excuses are already starting...
Nintendo: "This game won't sell in US."
American gamer: "We'll buy it if you release it! Pleeaseee!"
Nintendo: "Nope!"
American gamer spams Facebook page constantly.
Nintendo: "OK! OK! It's out in April."
American gamer: "I'm not buying it now."
Nintendo: "See? We were right all along."
To stop NoA saying "Told you it wouldn't sell. We won't bother localizing Xenoblade 2."
If you want to prove Nintendo wrong, buy the game and trade it in a few days later....
Yep, worryingly, I'm already starting to see excuses on certain gaming sites.
"Oh, I was interested, but I'm don't want to buy that game any more."
"I'll wait until the price drop."
"Well, I've already hacked my Wii to play the European version - I'm not buying it again."
Anyone that complained about this game not being released should buy it for full price on Day 1 - no excuses - even if y...
Basically, because the 3DS didn't fly off the shelves like the DS and the Wii did, and it didn't sell as well as Nintendo's lofty expectations, everyone went crazy.
More likely, Nintendo didn't want anything to take away from Skyward Sword....
