This is a good thing IMO.
Every time Zelda has had voice acting, it has ended up being a disaster.
Hey Listen!
Excuuuse Me, Princess!
All the more impressive when you consider this is only the 14th perfect 10 score EDGE has awarded since the magazine started in 1993 - and that's across all gaming formats - past and present.

Of course it was going to be good!
It's Zelda!
If I recall, the Monster Hunter games on PSP didn't have online either. Just saying.
And this makes sense for Japan, where Monster Hunter meet ups are legendary and just by walking down the street, you can find 50 other people playing it.
(The game hasn't been confirmed for release anywhere else yet.)
It will probably be about the 3d video recorder.
Look at the titles:
Ocarina of Time 3D
Starfox 64 3D
Both remakes, both with a "3D" on the end.
If they'd called this "Mario Kart 3D" it would sound like a remake of an older game.
Also look at the other big game released this year:
It's called "Super Mario 3D Land", not "Super Mario Land 3D"
Well, the expanded cover art shows Luigi as a stone statue....

Plus, I hate to say it, but it could people even more confused about the Wii U.
Agree with this.
During the summer, 3DS owners were desperate for games. Nintendo held back their big titles in order for the third parties to sell, and most of them didn't take the opportunity. As a result, the console didn't sell and Nintendo had to reduce the price.
Now, Cave Story is going to be released at the same time as Mario, Zelda - the exact situation Nintendo were trying to avoid in the first place - and no matter how good this game is, it...
Not sure how anyone can disagree with that.
I even provided the link where he said it.
This looks bad, but its a WayForward game, and they're usually good, so I'm a bit torn....
Why do people take what Pachter says seriously?
This is the same man who thought that Nintendo's original 3DS price was too low as the system would "fly off the shelves".

I've seen some PC games try this kind of thing.
For example, the Humble Indie Bundle where you pay what you want for a selection of games. If you pay over the average, you get more games.
Could it work for consoles? Not sure.
The whole point of Skyward Sword is the motion control. You have to slash in certain direction to kill enemies, etc. I don't think it would work on the 3DS.
I guess it will keep you in the air longer during the glider sections too....
Exactly what I was going to say.
While he may have a point with the other games, Steel Diver is a game that could only work on the 3DS.
While I'm an Android guy, I respect what Steve did.
RIP.
This is real (well, at least for some stores). I personally saw the new design in my local ASDA today.
The 3DS logo was already a different side of the box to the DS logo. This will just make it even more obvious.
The article makes too many assumptions.
Weird article, considering IGN is the site that has been complaining loudest about the 3DS.
Did I just imagine the "Why history proves the 3DS is doomed to fail" articles?
