And the mass downvoting begins… this wont be at the scale of the starfield hate, but it was still forseen. Im still warding them off, do I need to train a protege to aid veilguard?lol
I am surprised though, I thought all the darkspawn would still be on starfield. It looks they are all coming back to the deep roads now.. great.
People pick apart virtually every major release. Even dragons dogma 2 got a good taste of controversy. Negativity draws attent. Despite the accolades, all I have seen on YouTube before the game dropped are negative videos. This is our race: Negative.
It seems so. Developers are focused on money , and gamers are becoming more and more discontent and unappreciative . A reset is imminent.
There were quite a few 6/10 scores, so I dont think we have to worry too much about shillling.
lol. From what I have heard, they took notes from the witcher 3. One of the main things that people liked so much about the witcher 3 were the "quality" quests, even side quests. I have heard that Veilguard kind of takes that approach. People should be happy if its true, but we will see.
@andy85 I said probably. Bioware is known for their characters, and has held the championship for quite some time. But, at a certain point, it is all subjective. I didnt really care for many of the characters in BG3. Karlach was the only one I somehwhat liked.
Its like the deeproads during a blight, all of the darkspawn are trashing starfield right now, so this game will keep from being hammered as hard.lol
I think she was prettier pre mod.lol
@raidenblack
Not necessarily so simple. I am sure larian will turn it into a traditional rpg, which I know everyone wants. Ut at what cost? I highly doubt they can play with lore the way Bioware does, and many dragon age fans like the series because of the lore. It doesn’t matter what direction it is taken, an unfortunate group will be alienated.
On another level in some areas Im sure, but veilguard already has a superior presentation. Will probably have better characters too.
Gamers dont take accountability, that much has been shown.
@TheNamelessOne
Oh, thats what some people mean by choices, they are referring to past actions in other games carrying over to the latest like morrigans son Kierran. When I mentioned the lack of choices, I was thinking more Baldurs Gate player pick this option get a different ending.
And drsgon age 2 was and probably will remain my favorite dragon age game. I always liked dragon age for the lore, and dragon age 2 took lore teasing to a new level. Loading ...
Yeah, thats what I meant. I would say its just a hair shy of being AAA in production scale, but that’s probably a good thing.
@anast
Beng able to turn Bethesda’s signature clutter to craft/upgrade equipment and even build. Those systems alone dwarf the witchers gameplay systems. Ultimately, it depends on how you interpret what I said. When I say Fallout 4 is more of a game, I dont mean that its a superior product. I dont think any of these higher production products is truly better than the other.(Witcher, cyberpunk, starfield, falllout 4, etc) Thats like saying Mehrunes Dagon is more powerful than Molag B...
Im pretty sure Dragon Age 2 and inquisition didn’t have alot of choices, outside of bring diplomatic, humorous or aggressive. I suspect something similar here. Origins was the only one with deep choices and consequences.
I predicted Inquisition, but more focused. I think thats what we have: Higher presentstion and action, fewer permutations such as choices and consequences
People are being consumed by the ability to see what they want to see. They get a Eurika moment in their head and run with it to the ends of the earth because it sounds right in their head. But anything can sound right in our heads.
Lmao. Fallout 4 is more game than the witcher 3, ill tel you that.
This is true. And here are a bunch of downvotes just for you, for being you know…truthful.
