Outlaws actually surprised me. Its not the usual stuff that they put out; however, I think that is the point. Ubisoft has a long history of reskinning open world games with a different name. I honestly think their practices caught up with them, and hit them when they actually released something with genuine effort.
Consumer discontentment and greed has caused people to see 7/10 as mediocre or bad. Last I checked, 7/10 was good
Because they are more vocal. People that like the game are busy playing it or doing something else. The people that dont like starfield are oddly captivated by it. It’s actually the naysayers that keeps the game in news.
Saying anything to a naysayer about Starfield, that is not negative, is going to get you downvoted. Oopps, looks like its too late. 😂
You may want to look harder. A large number of gaming news channels and sites are talking about the dlc.
This is not true. Its just that the ones that dont like it are the most vocal. There are a very large number of people that like/love starfield.
The game is very polarizing. For every person that thinks the game is average, there is one that thinks its god tier.
This is true. So many games that are admonished I really enjoyed. And say many games that are decorated I could not stand

@AndrewM
Thats where you are incorrect, people are confused. They have mistaken themselves not personally enjoying the game as a failure on Bethesdas part, as proof the game is objectively bad. These same people, that you are saying are not confused, claim that I have bad taste because I got bored of the Witcher 3 or Black Myth Wukong. They have mixed preference with the game being an objectively bad flop: That is the definition of confused. People always will set their ow...
@InURFoxHole
Indeed. Its solid. Its not the ultimate game, but it sure as heck isnt the colossal dumpster fire that naysayers have gaslit themselves into believing.
@Potatoseal
Its okay, it’s understandable and expected. Many people don’t like being on the other end of the hammer…so they are all either jumping ship or silent. Ill still be here….
@Knushwood Butt
My initial response was not aimed at you. Myabe you understand this, but there are so many that dont
Thats the thing about it, people keep saying its bad taste or delusion. Its not. Why, because Im not a seeker of stimulation. Im not their to be “ooooed” and “ahhhed” every time there is a pretty cutscene when I make a choice, or to be stimulated by soul crushing shock value. Thats why people liked that game, and that’s exactly why I dont.
Had it right the first time. Outlaws came and went, outside of a few news outlets sharing objective information about the game, instead of saying its trash and continuing to harp on it a year later as if the game just came out. People cant keep their eyes off of starfield, they want it to fail. The fact that people havent quit trashing it yet means their wish hasnt come true yet….and it wont.
@MrDead Not the best analogy. Perhaps people see it as urine, but perhaps that is an issue of the observer, and not the game itself. People are not willing to see themselves as the cause of the “issue”.
Thats preference. I can say the same about Breath of the wild, tears of the kingdom, black myth wukong, and more.
It is THE game. People just dont see it.
Bethesda hasn’t dropped anything, gamers ability to understand and see reason are just devolving further and further, every year.
What you are saying is very unreasonable and bereft of understanding. This idea that everything must keep up withor surpass another game is how collapses and crashes happen. The detail in rdr 2 comes at a cost. Other open world games have something unique to offer, and it is foolish to think that something else has to do what rdr 2 is doing to be acceptable.Rdr 2 is not strictly better, people are just strictly discontent.
