Are you referring to the critic reviews? I only saw two perfect scores.

F the law. People are sowing entropy, thats the real thing we should be worried about. This type of insidious, vitriolic behavior will slowly corrode us from within and manifest itself in broken laws. If you want to stop law breaking, it starts right here.

@DivineHand125

You know how it works: speak truth: get downvoted.😂

But in a serious note, you are dropping more truth. People were just using metacritc as a form of confirmation bias to show why Starfield is a bad game. Now all of a sudden we dont want to use steam reviews? People are so boind by bias against veilguard that its borderline self sabotage. Like divinehands125 stated, if the game is that bad, it will flop on its own like other bad gam...

Baldurs Gate 3 exists. Dragon age origins fans have been waiting since 2009….its not happening. Play BG3 instead.

Lets not get hyperbolic now.

They follow a certain set of rules that is decided upon by the supposedly fallible, as to how things are supposed to be done. Does not make them untouchable because they have a degree. What they say is of interest, but it should not be considered gospel by anyone with awareness of how things work in this existence. I have bested opponents that are considered professional level, and Im not one myself. I have likewise learned from those not considered to be at my level in a specific area. Alo...

. If people can have fun with souls game combat, they should be okay with the combat in veilguard? Learn to view a games attributes in respect to the entire game instead of viewing everything in isolation. Devil may cry, all you do 98 percent of the time is beat the crap out of stuff….. of course its going to have more enemy variety and deeper combat. Thats the whole game😂
I dont too much care for what they did with the qunari, but Im not going to get caught up on it. Only a...

@DivineHand125
The hardest truth I have seen said in these comments since the game dropped. Well spoken, and kudos.

What I liked about dragon age has always been the lore. Origins introduced concepts, but they didn’t really start toying with it until dragon age 2. Veilguard still has the lore and sense of mystery for me, but it also has the combat. I am more of martial arts kind of player. Games like Devil may cry, wo long fallen dyansty sekiro, or fighting games are what Im usually playing if I am not playing an rpg. I usually like role playing a super strong warrior, which this game lets you do, and it l...

It is true. Perhaps you are assuming i am talking about all single player games( I am basing this off of you assuming what I said in a post prior was all inclusive), but I am not talking about all of them. But alot of studios under the umbrella of these fat studios are not in the best position. Dead space, high fi rush, the team responsible for prince of persia lost crown. All great games, yet what happened?….Its true.

Even sony is running head first into games as a servic...

Every person was not referenced, only the ones that are “average”(which they exist regardless of the actual number). The game may not be dragon age in terms of gameplay, but it is in terms of story and lore. That is what draws me in to dragon age, and I feel it permeating every corner.

Maybe, maybe not. If it was a traditional rpg, it would have Baldurs Gate 3’s big fat shadow to contend with. And from the audience’s perspective, that would have been bad for the game. At least with the way it is, it stands out.

Indeed. Good work

We all know the game is going to be a financial disappointment. Even if it hit Black Myth wukong player numbers, they would still barely break even. And I am not hating, as I love Veilguard so far. Tied with dogma for my goty, but I will speak the truth nonetheless.

Lmao. I think that might be the case, as I get downvoted even when I say things that are objective facts. Like if I say “I cant say anything about Ff7 because I havent played it…7 downvotes. 😂

In terms of traditional rpg aspects, origins wins. In terms of scale, presentation, and refined simplicity, Veilguard wins. Its not as simple as game A is better than game B, we have to set parameters

For example: Are there people that think origins is better? Yes, alot of them. Is it though? That is debatable.

People miss variables easily.lol

455d ago 1 agree8 disagreeView comment

Depends who you ask. For me it did, and dragon age origins is still to this day my most replayed single player game.

455d ago 0 agree13 disagreeView comment

Lmao. All of Biowares “rpgs” after 2009 follow the same template. Thats the direction they have chosen. They arent the same traditional rpg makers anymore, and people refuse to acknowledge that and move on. Larian exists, so the people that want a “true” rpg are still well taken care of. But this does not mean Veilguard is lesser. I think I might like this game more than any of the previous dragon age games

So…are we camping the sales to try to get a bit of confirmation bias as to why the game is “trash”? Everyone here should probably know that this game is bot going to make a profit for EA. These single player games are not enough to feed these nephilim sized corporations., why do we think they are pushing mobile and live service so hard? They are almost always financial failures for these large companies.
