Lmao. It has nothing to do with dragon age. Its about Bioware being able to overcome their difficulties and put out a solid game. They have been struggling for a decade before now.
@Kaze88
Not being gloomy and dark is a matter of subjectivity. The gameplay for virtually any game gets old fast if it doesnt hook you in. Thats not the games fault, thats an observer issue. I actually like being only in control of rook. Reason I cant play BG3 by myself is because it breaks my immersion trying to control 3-4 different characters at once. Imagine trying to be a paladin, and having to sling spells with a mage every combat encounter. This also dries up an experience fas...
Thats what I would always say to Starfield haters: “When veilguard drops , people are going to use the previous “trash” rpgs to bludgeon it to death. And low and behold, we have “omg its worst than starfield”, and “Andromeda, Inquisition, and Dragon age 2 were better.” 🤦♂️
Changing the narrative from being directly payed off to being compensated in a more indirect way when it is apparent that the former was clearly confirmation bias? Yeah, I see how it works.
Gee, sure looks like people are still getting payed off almost 2 weeks later.😒
The game is legitimately good(great even). People are just in uproar for a few different reasons. The people who have legitimate criticism are noticeably more indifferent.
The game does have some cringe moments, but overall the writing is not as bad as is perceived.
Hyperbole
@jwillj2k4
If that persons “opinion” is exceedingly foolish and shortsighted, of course Im going to invalidate it. If you just people do and think whatever they want, they wont get better as people.
@MeteorPanda
A clear example of someone that didnt even play the game. I am over 20 hours in and have yet to encounter this “preaching “ you speak of. Your not even getting a bag for this, so why lie?
People are jumping on the bandwagon to fit in, to feel valued respected. Most of these people didnt even play the game.
Yea, we are still paying them long after initial reviews. Just hold the L man
Ah yes, they are apparently still paying people for positive reviews a week later…. People believe anything
@Abriel
What if its the inverse? What if its not clumsy writing, but an issue with the observer(audience)? Yes, the audience decides what they like and dont like, but there is a difference between “This is bad” and “I just dont like this”.
People dont realize they are deteriorating, this is a dangerous perception trap.
“Bad writing”. Almost exclusively heralded by those that dont actually write.
People are so quick to agree/disagree with anything. Indifference does exist you know.
Its always refreshing to find someone that has played origins, yet still sees value in veilguard.
We all are
Gotta love being downvoted for calling people out on willful ignorance. No nuance. Lol Cookie cutter characters that are easy to root for: Alistair, Leliana, Aveline, Bethany, cassandra, Carver, Tali, Liara, Ashley, Kaiden, samara, and probably a few others I am missing. These types of characters have always existed in their games, and they will remain because it’s realistic. Some people are more pure or corrupt than others.
@Onilink
🤣. People are nuts.
