Interestingly enough, the concept for this game started in Bethesda Game Studios if Im not mistaken.
People should always take reviews with a pinch of salt. The key thing more than anything is hook: does the game have something you are interested in? If yes, then you will like it. The difficult thing is that the hooks cant really get us jntil we experience it for ourselves.
"It was never going to feel like Dragon Age for normie/stimulation junkie players that just play games for the spectacle. True ride or die dragon age fans appreciate this game, because lore wise, this is very dragon age."
There you go, truly fixed it. No need to thank me. People really have to let go of origins, it is the only game in the entire series that has that distinct dark fantasy feeling where everything everywhere is bleak at all times. Bioware games alwa...
I mean they are right. Its virtually impossible to land a project at the right time to appeal to the gaming audience, as they are chaotic and ever shifting in interest. I still remember the criticisms for inquisition. The developers addressed those issues, and now people are saying they liked inquisition better, for the same reasons they criticized it for. Lmao
@solozealot
I have already, many times in fact, got people to almost literally admit that certain games they would give as an example of objectively good game design, possess the literal same elements fundamentally as a game they would crap on. It is subjective, as if we look at it at a fundamental level, it is much harder than one would think to say what game is “good” vs what game is “bad”. These people that claim a game is “objectively “ bad dont see beyond a superficia...
Yes, wukong is such a good game with all that empty space and is a simple peak valley boss rush simulator.
Gsmingsince1981 play games that dont fit you. I could say wukong is pure trash… but I know better
Joe was just being disingenuous. It cant be that hard to find points. Characters? World building and writing in terms of cohesive direction and build up over multiple games? Atmosphere? Unique venues? Engaging combat? At least more
choice and consequence than Inquisition, which he scored much higher? Catering hard to lore nerds? Solid presentation? Yeah, Joe has shown himself multiple times now restraining himself to not piss off his audience. I understand this, but it is the truth. ...
Fair point, but I suppose thats the trade off for having s more open area, especially if we consider that they made environments in such a way to support the engaging combat system. Origins and dragon age 2 had very scripted fights in most areas. Same thing in mass effect , 2 and 3 now that I think about it.
4/10 is super low. People act like they are rating gollum or something. Very strange how people like sleep myth whkong so much yet despise veilguard
8.5/10
Joe doesnt want to piss off his viewers. His honest score would be 5-6/10.
The world feels shallow? Take it the creator is not a fan of the lore?
Angry joe was being hyper biased. His score is disrespectful
Keep hating
@agentbuttcake
You do know he’s trolling right? While lord of critics is technically correct , trolling was his true intention.
@danno omen
Im trolling.lol This is my way of rubbing the L in the faces of all the people that kept saying the launch reviews were paid for. I tried to tell them but they said I was coping.
Lol
Just remember folks, they got paid for this.😒
@Meteor panda
People were complaining that inquisition was not dark when it launched, now we want to say its dark? Lets pick a lane and stay in it please. On rails? Just… wow.
@Moodie
I see the flaws in the people that apparently see the flaws in the writing. If I am a kid for appreciating a game that is not oozing with corruption and shock value(cyberpunk, and even Bg3 to an extent) then I guess Im a kid. Better a kid than to be okay with miring in corruption...
