Yup, for good reasons

Hater’s are digging their own graves. Just let it be.

That people expect a rpg to have dark themes and gritty edge to be “good”. What does that say about humanity?

540d ago 1 agree26 disagreeView comment

Funny how people say the game is repetitive, but vouch for sleep myth wukong. Veilguard 8.5-9 for me.

Tour not a fan of dragon age then. Your a fan of stimulation.

@Profchaos

Their “competition “ isnt doing what they do, and thats the thing people miss. There is a reason developers dont make games like Bethesda, because it is very risky. Cyberpunk came out a buggy mess and it want even close to the number of permutations a gsme like starfield handles.

He left the cycle before the later stages. They made changes, changes that likely require loading screens for stability

Nope. I have friends on psn that are annoyed that astrobot won. Better than sleep myth wukong winning. I was for sure final fantasy would win though.

What hes saying is true. Too many “games” are money making schemes disguised as video games. Bu this is the nature of how people are: They see success and then attempt to cop it, but without the soul and passion that led to the success.

There is kind of an element of luck. There have plenty of incredible gsmes that dont get there due.

Be wary of these “standards” expectations . Set them to high and no one will reach the bar

Flame war alert: Nice. For me, its between veilguard and dragons dogma 2.

Truth is, there is no objectively good game. Its what game hooks you in and why. I brought persona 5 and stopped two hours in.

@Dododojo

Lol. Im probably the biggest dragon age fan/nerd in these comments, and I dont think its a 10. I think its solid, easy 7-9. I havent finished the game, but so far its an 8.5 for me.

@theeroica
Im talking about something that if mastered it will make your life experience better and more fulfilling. A hook is something that draws our initial attention to draw us into the rest of the work. For some its the visuals, for others the gameplay...

Lol . I used to think that at some point honestly , but people have unwittingly helped me to not doubt. 9/10 times I go through this cycle of discussion with people, I end up right in the end. And thats because its the truth. The truth will manifest itself regardless.

@chieflolipolice

I am the true dragon age fan. Lol
Dragon age after origins is about the lore and mysteries. If you dont know that then you arent really that big of a fan. Jackdaw, Darth sahdie lavellan, saria, The kingdom, these are some of the biggest dragon age nerds of all time, and they are all about the story lore and mystery. Somebody that wants to be stimulated by a pretty cutscene when they pick option A over b is not a dragon age fan, they are a tradition...

Because product A in another series was successful. Publishers think in terms of numbers. They typically aren’t actually in the trenches playing the games themselves. Also, truth is that the gaming audience is becoming increasingly hard to read. I notice this from countless discussions and general observation.

Other than the community making the game themselves, yeah.

Maybe not. It could be a message.
