Jump 50x on a stone house. Fits the game very well.
Funny thing is, that neither the X1 nor the PS4 is actually strong enough for full VR experiences. Also most PCs out there wont cut it.
It's a tech just emerging. I think it will take another 3-5 years to fully utilize it. It's a next gen thing. It may actually get selling point for the Steamboxes imo.
Indeed. Campaign would have been the only reason to convince me. Multiplayer Beta was meh.
That's exactly the point. ... and for a felt bf4 mod I am just not willing to pay 110 bucks (game + Premium). There are better games arriving that deserve that money.
Sorry, Visceral ... and good luck with the EA ties.
Her playing in my living room?
I'll cook everyday.
That lifestyle device they talked about is very possible.
Nintendo building a Steambox. Makeing all their devices PC compatible. Big installbase will make them sell software like hotcakes. And on the hardwareside they can sell controllers and stuff even to users of other PCs + their own NX = Nintendo Box.
Their new userplatform is a kind of multiplat asian steam service.
Just kidding ...
... like a vampire feeding on my wallet.
I don't think it got anything to do with leaving out the playstation crowd. It's a simple design problem. Too many bots, not enough variety. Simple as that. 6v6 is really ridiculous ... at least, if you are used to play 64 player stuff like Battlefield, not to talk about the massive battles of Planetside.
Basically it's hard to make a multiplayer shooter fun and keep it alive over a long time. So many cool projects out their that died quickly. It's sad.
rofl ... oh my god, I totally forgot about that allready.
It's not only about the length ...
Nevertheless, the basis for a great game is given. They just need to execute it better imo.
May grab it cheap someday. No rush.
Indeed, good stuff ariving this year.
They are really revitalizing and diversifying the genre again.
I don't think they should and will bother anymore. When they delayed the WiiU-version (if it's comming at all) to focus on the PS4 and X1, they made - imo - a lasting impression on the WiiU-community.
I don't get your point?
Same charakter, but very different games.
E.g.
Mario Kart 2008 / 2013
Mario Party 2007 / 2012 / 2015
Mario Bros 2009 / 2012
and so on.
It's 3-5 years in between - everything but annual.
I think the premise is wrong.
If steam machines (aka SteamOS) will be successfull it will be so on the long run. It's NOT like they will hit the market and everyone will stand in line.
But time really could work for them. They will get stronger and get cheaper over this console cycle. So you will get a lot of bang for the buck in - lets say - two or three years. Espescially considering the new VR-Tech, it could be the system to go for, since even the PS4 ...
You are right about the reskin.
But that doesn't change the fact, that their engine is demanding on CPU and GPU. Playercount, mapsize and ongoing action/destruction have quiet an effect on fps.
They rediscovered it, because Valve (SteamOS) is threatening their monopoly as PC-gaming-platform. It's a preventive strike before things get out of hand. DX12 ... same. A reaction to mantle.
I am happy that they are forced to make some effort. Can only be good for all of us.
He gathers information before making HIS decision. Actually the mature thing to do.
Passing knowledge/experience from one to another human being is what made us so successfull in our struggles over this planet. Fellow humans, who never listen to others, tend to die quickly.
Just sayin' ...
There are some other good exclusvie games, that are not the typical nintendo, like Bayonetta, Zombie U, Devils Third ... also a lot of good indies and some well made 3rd party stuff, like DeusEx. And backwards compatibiliy to the Wii.
Considering Nintendo being on a run lately with its firstparty lineup - who knows what they are cooking right now. I recommend it highly as an addition to a second system.
"Um, The Order, Bloodborne, Ori and the Blind Forest, Sunset Overdrive and countless others are innovating current gen as we speak. As this generation progresses we'll see more games with highly interactive environments, diverse AI, procedural storytelling and more to define why the new hardware is for more than graphics."
... this made me laugh so hard. ^^
