1) not everyone plays god of war and there are so many more GOOD games on the ps2 that xbox can dream of.
2) Im quite sure a 5th of the ps2 sales are repurchases because of malfunction over the years of the repurchase of the slim ps2.
3) truth is there are not that many super games on teh xbox that are EXCLUSIVE.... you have halo and then you have gears..... what else is there.
4) too many ways to pirate ps2 nowadays.

It is not only the sharpness, but the colours are more vibrant and 3dimensional.

Sony Is what made console gaming for the past 2 generations.
Its far from a dud, its showing the exact symptoms as the transition between ps1 > ps2.
Ps2 will SLOWLY die out and make way for the ps3. Plus blu-ray is winning because of he ps3, hence driving down the cost of the technology.
Just like MOST ppl here!, but it is newer tech meaning there is a bigger learning curve.
But I think it is more business politics than anything else. Had Sony introduced all their SUPER titles on the ps2 on the first 3 months of launch the system would have died. A slower and CONSTANT flow of games without flooding the market is great to build the user base and increase profits for the long term.

Transformers is an awesome movie it really is but There are many other movies out there and most of them are on blu. Btw blu has their own outliers pirates, spiderman, and die hard. Guess what that is not 3 movies... its really 10 big sellers

Im not going to go into detail but the gameplay was bland, graphics suck..... but the main reviewer kept raving about it. Even his facial reactions in the video review seemed artificial. paid incentives i guess

I keep hearing ppl saying the ps3 has so much potential but it costs alot.

Sorry, although it is early in the game developers are starting to use more than 10 gb's of memory, meaning dvd is slowly becoming obsolete. With this in mind consumers and sony them selves dont have to worry about harddrive space for their ps3.
I can still picture 5 years from now 60 gb hd will still be enough, since most game data will be on the disc itself. The blu-ray tech will eventually drop to economie...
