and the graphics are quite amazing, but you can still tell what is animation and what is not. The reason why they show the video all in CG because it is easier to catch the attention from the console market.
When I talk to my console friends they for some reason care for the animation of the game.... ahem even when some of them are blinded and believe the animation is real time in game graphics.

1) they dont have the heavy hitters yet
2) its much more expensive.
Although the heavy hitters are not out yet there is sufficient media to justify the purchase

You cant judge a console after a year of usage, judge when its 2-4 years old. ONe thing for sure xbox sucks cuz of their defect rate.
It is hard to tell the difference, but on a 37+ inch display there is a huge difference.

Take a pc and connect it to a flat panel that has component, vga, dvi, hdmi.
YOu will see that colors are not as vibrant on the vga and compoent connections.
DVI-d is essentaill the same as hdmi, and they are richer colors. Plus there is less thrashing when connecting a dvi connection vs the vga connection.
I think a pc is a much beter representation of how these interfaces output rather than the xbox.
I can honestly say im pointed more towards in buying the game..... but not in the next couple weeks, busy playing graw 2.

I bought that game and did not really like it.
Its every 6 months a new video card iteration comes out.
Now if you buy crappy video cards from the beginning then yes you have to upgrade more often. Problem is those ppl who buy crappy video cards tend not to game t hat much on the PC.

Why you think companies release demos, so you get a taste of the final product. Yes Im not getting the whole game but its enough to pass judgment.
Companies usually release a demo showing the key mechanics and features.... and this game did not feel like a 9.5 based off the demo.

In each ps3 to educate ppl about blu-ray, and to take full advantage of this technolgoy you must have 1080 p tv with hdmi reciever.
Verdict. it is Not a 9 > 9.5 game it felt more like an 8 >8.5 game
