That's not true 1080p. I can take a 1px image and stretch it to 1080p, it doesn't make it so. Upscaling just fakes what would be there.
Wow, a bot has artificial intelligence, that's a first! You should petition to get them to just stand still and do nothing.
You can't directly convert triangles to 'squares' though. A four sided polygon cannot curve, where as two tris can go separate ways.
Most modelling and game engines convert everything to tris anyway, so when Killzone devs talk polys they may very well be talking the same polys as Ryse devs.
How are you people getting these numbers? That's not how meshes work. A triangle is a polygon.
What is the poly count of a single triangle in a 3D world? The answer is one. If you said some stupid number like 1/2 or 1/4th or anything else other than one you need to stop giving advice.
A polygon by definition is something that consists of three or more edges, whatever your high school teacher taught you is wrong.

I don't understand this argument. Currently you are forced to take your thumb off the right stick to press buttons, this clearly isn't practical if you aren't using the left stick but need the right stick.
There are also buttons on the bottom side of the controller, so you can still have access to four buttons (plus the triggers) without moving your left hand, only now you can actually use an extra two buttons without having to move your right hand either.

@DevilishSix
I'd recommend you go back to school buddy. A polygon is something that contains three or more sides (spoiler alert: that's a triangle).
A face is a 3D term.

Lolwat, your maths make no sense at all. A polygon is a FACE, it has ONE side. A triangle, and a square, are BOTH polygons. If you really wanted to get technical, you can divide a square in half from corner to corner, to get a triangle. Which would mean that it's half the triangles mentioned (to get the total squares), but even then it's not valid because you don't even know how many of Killzones polys are triangles.

I guess you missed the entire part about haptick feedback.
What the hell is this crap, how did it get approved? It's not even an article, it's just some kids crappy attempts at a meme or something.
"and I think PC culture has rubbed off on consoles gamers"
You just replied saying the same thing.
How? Because they are making an OS? There are HUNDREDS of operating systems. Steam are making an operating system so they can own the gaming market and bring a better experience to their customers, they aren't trying to compete against Apple or MS.
Security as in what? Limiting what you can do? PSN breach doesn't count as failed security? You saying there aren't hackers on console? I present to you CoD4 and CoD MW. That had hackers out of control. People flying, under the maps, inside of buildings, slow motion, laser bullets, and all other crap. Took WEEKS to fix, and that whole time it basically unplayable. That was on both PS3 and 360. On PC a hacker comes into a match and they get banned straight away by the admin.
You have far more control over processes and memory management on Linux. PC gaming is about specs, so why waste some of it for no reason? Linux also natively supports more hardware devices than Windows, is more secure, and is more stable. And it's free.
The question should be, why would you want to use Windows?
You don't even have proof of sales since the digital sales from steam (which are most sales) aren't even available to the public.
Diablo 3 sold 6.5 million in it's first week, to date Last of Us is at 3.2 million sales TOTAL.
World of Warcraft, which has gone downhill massivly, still has over 7 million people paying MONTHLY.
And including in all games that sell on PC, it makes more money compared to the consoles overall.
I bet a 7 year old PC can play a game and voice chat to someone playing a different game.
Meanwhile the money you saved on cheaper games and not paying for online gets to sit in the bank piling up, ready to upgrade for a better experience at less of a cost.
Steam has been on Linux for ages, and guess what? Barely anyone has taken advantage of it. Nothing is set in stone yet, they still need to convince devs to actually make games for the OS, and without a base community already using the OS it's hard to tell whether it's worth the money to make a version compatible.
Yeah, because 'Murica, Land of the Free, totally doesn't have anyone who is against this sort of stuff.
It's static as in static hardware, which consoles are.
And the mouse looked absolutely stupid when it was first shown, but look how that turned out.
