Compared to Windows restricted box? Linux is far more unrestricted than Windows, and is capable of far more. The ONLY reason windows is popular is because they currently hold the software market with organizations with software like Word and Photoshop. The game is currently only on Origin for Windows, there have been no clear indications of Origins coming to Linux or Titanfall coming to steam. So currently neither of those are an option.
Care to explain how? It was stupid to publicly say it, but it's true. Whether you buy it on 360, XBone, or PC you are supporting MS platforms.
I'm sorry I don't keep up to date with Origin or Mac, I don't care for either of them. Regardless, Titanfall is only on origin on windows, so steambox won't change anything unless EA decides to support steam or make origin available for Linux, neither of which have been confirmed.
