The problem is, they are putting 1 good song in, with 2 bad songs (or some combination of good and bad).
So you are paying $6.25 to get maybe 1 or 2 good songs.

It's not worth it. The price point is absurd.
Add it up. There were 30 songs (not including bonus tracks) in GH1. At $2.083 per song, that's $62.50 approx for all of them.
The game retails at $40 and even if you include the $10 increase for 360 next gen titles, that's still $12.50 over what you'd pay for the original full game if it were out on the 360.

They were released to the XBL Marketplace in 3 song packs for 500 msp points each, not 150 (so $6.25).

When the 360 came out, it wasn't available for months after launch unless you were lucky.
When the PS3 came out, it was available consistently after a couple weeks.
Maybe it's as they say, and they are manufactoring them at a very fast pace.... but then again... considering they kept delaying launch due to "manufactoring problems" I find this hard to believe.
The fact is, the PS3 isn't selling as well as Sony expected it to.
I would hope its better on the PS3. Considering the time difference in release, if it wasn't better, there'd be something seriously flawed.

Hopefully they've learned from BFME2. If the controls are refined and the "strategy" aspect of it is more prevalent, I could see this as being the next big leap in console strategy.

The demo is ready to go, pending MS certification. There's been multiple news stories on it, saying anything from VERY VERY SOON, to Several Days, to Before the End of the Month.
How are you going to call it a ripoff? There's many new ideas and gameplay mechanics to this.

Sure they are the same genre, maybe feature similar camera angles, or similar themes, but there are fundamental design differences and innovative ideas that distinguish the two.
