What controversy? This is a terrible article and essentially just clickbait.
This isn't really a case of corporate rip off. It's a case of corporate "trying to make a profit".
No business that takes used products is going to give you a much better price. It's pretty much a given that if you want to sell something and get the best price, you sell it yourself. Selling to Gamestop or any other company, is simply a convenience.

It's bullshit. It's a link about a non-rumor. An analyst makes a comment suggesting that Microsoft will want to charge $100, and everyone jumps on it as if the source was Microsoft.
There's absolutely no reason for Microsoft to change their pricing. Perhaps they might offer a higher level Live plan for $100/year, but they aren't going to do away with online multiplayer for $50/year. It's a stupid prediction and it doesn't deserve to be called news or even a rumor.

How has GT been superior?
GT4, 2005 got an 89.43 rating on gamerankings.
Forza 1, 2005 got a 92.89 rating.
GT5 Prologue, 2008.... 80.01.
Sure GT started out strong, but Forza has definitely overtaken them on quality.

I just don't see alot of first party exclusives that I have to have. I mean, for every exclusive on one platform there's generally an exclusive equivalent on the other. Sony has Gran Turismo, Microsoft has Forza.....
There's some discrepancies.... but generally I think you are safe on either side of the fence if you can't afford to be on both.

There's not really any reason for it to be exclusive. MS is creating a tradition out of stealing Sony exclusives to be multiplatform over the past 3 years (MGS, FF, GTA)...... Ultimately, the more games that go multiplatform, the easier the choice becomes when buying a console. In other words, you no longer HAVE to get a PS3 if you want MGS. I'm not knocking the PS3 or the 360 (IMO they are fairly equal, its just a personal preference).
So I hope it comes to both systems....
It would be nice to see it come to the PS3. I don't own one, but the more people who experience the game, the better.
I would like to see them refine the controls if they do another one. It can be a pain at times when your character doesn't move when you wanted him to or moves when you were trying to aim. But it's a minor annoyance.

Again, nothing new. This error is not really any different than the RROD, just not as prevalent. It's been going on since way before the NXE and there isn't anyone update, game or whatever that is causing it.

Is this really worth posting anymore? 360 break all the time. It is well documented. It's not really newsworthy anymore. Its unfortunate that it happens. Its supposedly getting better.... but there's still a large stock of faulty systems out there that are going to be sold.
For me it entirely depends on the price, timing and content of the DLC. There's no magic number or answer to those that works for everyone though and no developer is really going to give an honest answer on when they started working on the DLC content. To be fair, the DLC content could be started before the game is released, because there are staff members during the final stages of game production that aren't needed and begin new projects (including DLC for the game that isn't released yet...

Probably not a good idea to admit to insurance fraud on a public forum. Sure, chances are nobody who cares is going to notice.... but you never know who is reading!
Unfortunately, I failed the Test of Faith the first time through. There was one section with guards that I became frustrated at and disarmed and shot the next guard. I died shortly after and it reloaded prior to that, but apparently that was enough to prevent the achievement.
So I have to do a second playthrough for Test of Faith still. I'm going to try going through it on Hard without shooting (which I hear is really tough). If I have to, I'll do a playthrough on easy with...
May vary by jurisdiction, but at least in the US it is not a matter of law. It's store/company policy and consider best practice for the industry.
