What the hell is wrong with console manufactorer's these days? Don't they know that they should all be wireless to prevent things like this from happening? It's just irresponsible on their part that they would do this!
/sarcasm =D
I think people are forgetting something about the Diamond Card. It really has nothing to do with Xbox Live. It was something they threw together haphazardly and tacked it on as a perk to being an Xbox Live member, but ultimately it was garbage and while I know a few people (including myself) that managed to get one of the cards.... it's worthless in its current state. As the article states, Quizno's was about the only worthwhile discount for it.
Maybe when they start chargin...
I'm not going to speculate why they killed the girl, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had nothing to do with drinking or the game.
It does kind of seem like both excused were thrown in there as an attempt to mitigate responsibility.
This is a horrible tragedy. Both teens deserve to be in prison for a very long time.
I love how the news articles put video games in the headline but leave out the fact that the teens were drunk.
Bottom line is... it doesn't matter that they were drunk, it doesn't matter that they were playing video games. They were 2 teens that were already screwed up in the head and they were left unsupervised. The alcohol and the video game may have exasperated the situat...
No problem..... I probably came off a little harsh =P
Look at the date of the article. It's from November of 2005.
Over 2 years old. Who the hell approved this???
This was reported on back at E3. Jade was interviewed then and said there would be no demo.
MS has been saying this since the 360 launched though. It's nothing new. That's their marketing line. They said it going into last holiday season.
All this over a little section that says "Games of the Month" and an unupdated website.
This should never have been approved.
Please please please let this be true and let it happen.
I loved Frontier: Elite II. Favorite space game of all time.
They could release it in it's original form or do a sequel/remake and I'd be thrilled.
First, in order to commit murder, the kid (who happened to be 17, which made it legal for him to purchase the game in the US) had to have had a violent predisposition. I'm sure this wasn't his first violent outburst, just his most serious.
Second, the video game didn't trigger him to kill his little sister. It's not like he was playing the game and decided "Oh ADAM is cool stuff, I should go extract some from my Little Sister". His sister nagged him, so he killed h...
It doesn't matter if he's disbarred. There's nothing stopping him from suing Take Two/Rockstar to block the release. Anyone can sue for any reason at any time.
Even if they throw him in jail for contempt of court (which almost happened til he settled with T2) he could sue from jail.
It could be anything.... though on the Missions section of charlieoscardelta.com right now there's an option suggest a multiplayer perk for the game. So maybe they are planning on including community ideas in the final product.
The headset is likely being considered rated Mature because the game itself is rated Mature.
I'm not sure they should really card for it.... but I don't blame them for doing so and I don't think it's worth reading too much into it.
Graphics don't look like much, but honestly, they're not the most important thing in the world.
I'd rather the gameplay was perfect and the graphics were mediocre than the other way around.
Unfortunately Kengo has never had a history of perfect gameplay. But if you are a sucker for sword fighting games, it might be right up your alley. Good thing the MSRP is only $40.
Screens don't look that good graphically.... but if it's like the first Kengo at all, it should be fun (if you like sword fighting games).
Glad it's only $40.
Where do you get spoiled brat? I have a 360. I would buy a PS3 if I wanted the exclusives there, but I don't want them, nor can I afford to spend $600 on one.
You misinterpreted what I said. I meant buy whichever system is most appealing to you, and if you WANT both and can afford both, than buy both.
I should've indicated that exclusives don't benefit gamers and that not everyone of us can afford both just for exclusives. My mistake. But I wasn't implying ...
Seriously people, who the hell cares? If you want the exclusives from one system, buy that system, if you want the exclusives from the other, buy the other.
Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages and we've all heard them thousands of times. Just move on. Pick the system best for you and stop belittling other people over their choice at what's best for them.
Metal Gear and Final Fantasy are great franchises. Will the new ones be great? Who the he...
There's very clear reasons why they can't release the information. Just as when you sign up for a beta you are bound by a non-disclosure agreement, the ESRB has an obligation to keep the contents of an unreleased product under wraps.
Do you hear people b!tching about movies being rated and the rating board not disclosing the contents of the movie and how they came about their decision? NO! Why? Because movies have been around for alot longer and there's more money invested ...
Where the heck did this site come from? It looks like someone with minimal web experience built it? It might be legitimate, but it seems odd that this is the first time I've heard of them.
Who really cares? If you don't like their service, don't buy their product.
