This is a review of the PC version labeled as 360 version. Check the reviewer's credentials and check what he says. He is from PC Gamer UK and he mentions playing multiplayer and completing missions to unlock new game areas. There is no unlocking of game areas in the 360 version's multiplayer.
Also note that while he mentions multiplayer briefly, he doesn't discuss the modes available (PVP - Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Team Assault, Team Monster Hunt, Horse Race, Horse St...
You don't HAVE to kill them. In fact you are rewarded for not killing them in a number of different ways.
It's a choice. You have a chance in the game to do what you think is right. That's the beauty of it. That's what makes it great.
There's consequences either way you go.
I can understand people being upset over a game where you maliciously kill little children with no repercussions or consequences. However, there is a very real consequence to kill a little sister. And not only that, one could argue that you are saving the child by killing them because you are stopping the parasite inside them.
True question then becomes... is it amoral to kill the little sister because it is a child.... or is it amoral NOT to kill the little sister because yo...
I hope you are kidding.
It's ADAM. Think before you speak. The substance being referred to in Bioshock is called ADAM spelled A-D-A-M.
Just like the mana/magic bar is called "EVE".
ADAM and EVE
If MS feels Xbux is infringing on their trademark, then they have the right to take Xbux to court for it. I don't think there's anything here that is that unusual.
It certainly seems like an odd name for a company.... Xbux..... and I'm assuming Xbox was around first.... so....
I don't know if I'd call it bullying. If I started a company and called it Ploystation, I'm sure Sony would take offense to it. Or if I started a company called Wee.....
No rumble? So what..... the PC version isn't going to rumble your keyboard is it? Do you see people complaining about that? Last I checked PC was still the #1 platform for FPS's.
I like rumble, but it's certainly not a make or break feature.
Well, personally I don't think the 360 version will be better. However, they have said that even if disc space is a limitation they will find a way to work around it.
They also have said they are working to find a way to bring user generated content to ALL versions including the 360.
I will say the PS3 version will probably be better of the console versions. However, I think PC version will still be the best.
It's a marketing scam..... give it a new color scheme, throw in some extra accessories (play and charge) and charge more for it. It's a premium with a new color scheme.
It's meant for Halo fans and I'm sure there will be many Halo fans that will buy it.
But it's not really worth the extra price.
Oh man lets all get excited and declare Sony the winner because they outsold the 360 for 1 week.
Seriously.... who cares how well it sells each week.... you have to look at the total picture.
First it's one week, and it's at a time when there is a lull in good titles.
Second, it's only 14k. They are still down by about 6 million units. Granted they are a year behind, but it's way too early to start spouting off fan boy bull.
I call it a fake. They can't sue if Red Octane/Activision/Harmonix bought the licensing rights to it. And you can be damn sure they would have.
I don't find it to be very credible and I find it to be very suspect especially considering the reports of the PS3's breaking in the store kiosks because of overheating.
I don't really take issue to a Sony Sponsored blog spouting off Sony Sponsored rhetoric and taking stabs at their competitors. That's called business.
Really though, taking this as anything more than Sony just trying to push their position higher in the market isn't really thinking critically....
Best response ever.....
Dead on the money. If I could agree with you 10 times, I would.
They definitely should offer incentive for people to purchase a hard drive for the core system.
However, MS made the choice to not require a HDD, now they have to live with that. If they start requiring it, they are going to alienate part of their customer base.
They should offer a smaller HDD for next to nothing for core users. Perhaps a HDD that doesn't support XBL downloads, but would support caching and other utilities that the game developers want for temp...
Choices? At what cost?
The problem is... people weren't given choices. They were given buy system A or buy system B. Then a year later (or months in Sony's case) buy system C or A or B........ and then buy A+ or B+ or C.......
I mean... I don't mind choices, but put them all out at once or be up front with your plans for hardware expansion.
As it stands, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a new version of the PS3 with an even larger hard drive a...
We've seen employee scans/pictures all the time, and most times they aren't accurate.
There was an article a while back about the HD-DVD player being discontinued at Target and sure enough, it wasn't true.
I'll believe it when I see it. I've seen the core unit at every local store I've been in, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City and Gamestop.
That being said, I'd love for them to require the HDD. It would make life easier.
Nintendo is going to be releasing a new version of the Wii with DVD playback and different colored cases. There was also mention of them possibly doing an HD version in the future.
It's all stupid, but it's all about the money.
I question the validity of the study. There's not a whole lot of information explaining how they went about figuring this out other than proprietary sound analysis something or another....
I don't really care who uses their systems more. Fact is, I use my 360 at least 3-4 hours most days and probably 5-8 hours on the weekend days.
I love the games, I love the system. I'm sure if I only had a PS3 I'd probably use that the same amount.
Honestly, I don't care if the DS is selling better than the 360 or the PS3.
It's a handheld system. It's much cheaper and it serves a different purpose (to shut kids up when travelling). Of course it's going to have higher sales!
It's spelled "JUDGMENT"
Oh man.
