"Immediately cutting off SW for previous HW upon the release of a new machine is inefficient. We will continue making 3DS/Wii SW while preparing for the NX. We are prioritizing satisfying customers who purchased the Wii U."
- I really like that answer. I also hope they REALLY follow through with it.
As I said on another article:
After such a long development cycle, it's really surprising that they're starting work on the other so soon. I get that dev teams usually don't have a lot of break periods, but this is deep.
Still no mention of the true fate of the Wii U version of the first game, though. I lost my respect for them because of that: not purchasing any of their content until they clean up their act. In addition, you'd think they'...

Lie about what, exactly?
I get the frustration, but his point is that they didn't want people to get hyped again, only to be let down by the fact that this isn't a game we're getting very soon.
Not that I'm defending it; I think it would'be been great to see some new footage, but nevertheless, I ALSO don't know why everyone is so surprised. They announced earlier this year that Zelda won't be at E3, so it's not like they pulled the rug from under anyone's feet.
They had some pretty good ad-campaigns for Bayonetta 2, including a Direct. W101 also got a Direct. It's weird that it wasn't mentioned, but that doesn't mean it won't get its own ND in the near future.
To an extent, yes, but generally speaking, it's basically not worth it. Juggernaut franchises like GTA can get away with it. An indie title like this is a little rowboat compared to that.
I think the Wii U has been the prime example for "don't release one version of a game a millennia after the others."
Honestly; you're just asking for low sales.
I still don't get why people are getting bent out of shape over amiibo. So far, outside of amiibo Tap and Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival; NONE of these figurines are REQUIRED for a game. It's the same as DLC: it's your choice whether to buy one or not.
Except for the shortages, what the hell is the problem?
I know they don't.
I just find it funny how certain things get flagged when trash like this sails through effortlessly. It's hate-filled clickbait.
With this massive network of information that we all have access to, I find it interesting how things go "unnoticed".

As sensitive as N4G mods are—they actually thet THIS get approved?
In other news...Has EVERYONE forgotten that Anouma announced from the BEGINNING OF THE YEAR that Zelda won't be at E3? http://www.gamespot.com/art...
Seriously people; grow a brain.
They announced it wouldn't be shown off from since the beginning of the year. People were hoping they'd change their mind, but it's not like it was a real surprise.
Seriously...
It could be an interesting mediator between the 3DS and Wii U...A VR headset; we don't know. We'll be discussing that a year from now. As long as it isn't their 9th-gen console.
I don't think that is the end of the line for the U (not yet, at least) — but they really fumbled hard with this one. I don't understand how you can have such an epic presentation last year, and then turn around have...this. It's like it was put together in a week.
I really hope things turn up for the better as the year goes on. If Nintendo really does replace the U with the NX (we still don't even know WHAT it is) — they would damage their already shaky repu...
The new Transformers game was actually their big reveal. But seeing that their lead game designer posted Nintendo's E3 events, I still believe there's more coming from them...
Nope, nope, nope. You can't be serious. This "damned if you do, damned if you don't" thing has BEEN old, now it's just getting sad.
Nintendo are one of the FEW companies that are actually using DLC the CORRECT way, instead of an obvious cash grab. Both Smash and Mario Kart 8 are ALREADY COMPLETE GAMES. The DLC that has been released for them are SUPPLEMENTARY, NOT NECESSARY. You can still have quite a lot of fun with both titles, especially considering t...
So you want 3 dinosaurs fighting over one scrap of meat?
No, just no.
I don't know what's wrong with human society. We're all different, yet everyone wants to be like someone else and if you want to swim against the current, you're seen as "weird" and are mocked and cast aside. It all starts from the school days and just continues onward.
Sony and Microsoft are already 2 sides of one coin. One is arguably shiner than...
Monolith actually does help out the other teams. For instance, they assisted with the graphical work for Skyward Sword.
I simply copy and pasted the quote from the article. Don't point at me, point at the author.
