Good idea, but 3DS titles are very low-res, so, that'd look horrid on any TV, and seeing that most people have large TVs now-a-days, you can see how that goes. I'd rather streaming just to the Gamepad.
Yes, because themeing your product with a household name is SOOOO bad. (/s)
Both Nintendo and Temco Koei are smiling pretty right now at the revenue, while Wii U owners are enjoying the game. Nobody loses.
One of the best comments I've seen on this site. Bubble up, bro!
Considering how many times Sony has knocked off Nintendo; it wouldn't be too wrong for them to introduce something along lines of "Nintendo Plus".
I'm kidding, but seriously. It doesn't really matter. A lot of rewards programs from all sorts of different sources are similar in one way or another.
Don't know why this isn't listed in the Wii U section. Either way, it's looking good. I hope the U version comes out with everything else.
If a game like Bayonetta 2 is for kids, then CoD must be for infants. Going by your logic, at least...
Dolphin is an emulator, though. The Wii U still carries parts from the original Wii, that's why it has "Wii Mode". You're dealing with two different scenarios here, so I guess that's why they're not updating it. It would be cool though, if at the VERY LEAST added some anti-aliasing - which is something Wii games lack and looks horrendous on big-screen TVs.
I just upgraded from a 24-inch to a 46-inch, and Wii games (even the better ones) look really f...
I disagree. The meaning behind it made sense; it was a console made to be played by everyone. While the Wii U was meant to focus on "you" and everyone else, the name isn't as snappy as before, that I will admit. In the end; Wii wasn't bad, but if you think so, that's your opinion.
This generation - "bullshoting" is becoming less of a slick move, and more of a trend. So many titles were bull-shot in the last year alone, it's ridiculous. And just in case you're unaware of what the term means, it's simply releasing screenshots or running heavily customized builds that show more detail than the final product. A la Watch Dogs, for example.
Regardless, while I'm not a graphics-junkie, it's always great to see Nintendo being 100%...
Don't know much cheaper you want it. You're getting a console with two free games for $299 - $100 less than the others, which DON'T come with even ONE free game!
Seriously; you guys are expecting to pay peanuts for something you know you want, but your pride won't let you have, unless it's far below your "standards". The PS4 and XBOX One may be more powerful, but it doesn't mean squat when devs are releasing a myriad of broken titles.
Much of the range problems also have to do with other factors, like where the console is situated? Do you have it in a cabinet or compartment? Also, how much stuff are in your house? Wireless signals have to pass through every material object, so if you're house is cluttered, then that's an issue. Even what your house is made of. My house has a steel frame; which is murder on wireless signals.
$100 for the user blogs? Awh, yes!!
Of course they're making plans for a new system. They've said before that they start work on a system right after one is completed. Consoles take years to make; they aren't just pulled out of thin air.
The Wii U just turned 2, so, you're not gonna get that wish of yours until 2017-2018.
@InTheLab
No, that's not the case. You completely took my comment out of context. Try again.
The Wii U may be selling less than the other systems, but IT'S STILL MAKING MONEY. That was my point. If you read any articles about the N64, or GC, you will see that they made a profit off of both those systems as well. It wasn't just their handhelds. Their only financial failure was the Virtual Boy, and it ends there.
"Low" sales don't equate to lost profit.
It doesn't have to sell at the same rate as the PS4 or XBO to be considered a success. As long as it's making Nintendo money (which it is) - then that's all that matters.
The console is still turning a profit though; as long as it continues to do that, there's no reason to try and push it out of the way earlier.
Don't see why people even bother trying to figure it out. Nintendo are like ninjas; they're swift and they're silent. You don't really know what's going on until they WANT you to know what's going on, and by then, it's already in your face.
Whatever their next system may be; we won't be hearing about it for a while. The Wii U just turned 2, so there's AT THE VERY LEAST, 3 more years to go before its successor is released. Case-in-point; the...
@Spotie
A.) The author DID INCLUDE THAT in his title. The poster decided to use this as a chance to get some clickbait, so he modified the title when he brought it over here.
B.) Seeing that you only have one bubble, what you just said is what's "stupid". If an item is selling a lot, but still not making enough profit to cover the rest of the company's losses; then what happens to the company? Last time I checked, while the whole "lose...
Interesting choices.
Ninty gas improved their relationship with the online world, though. I'm sure we can expect most of their games to start incorporating it more and more. (the ones that would truly benefit from it, at least)
It's not that nobody cares; it's the fact that the Vita is very under-utilized, not to mention how expensive it is. Considering its lack of titles outside of Japan, it seems like a pretty big wallet dip to pick up a glorified controller - since that what it seems to mainly function as here in the West.
