Keep in mind this is a two year old game.
Well, it actually started off as a PC title beforehand.
Nevertheless, it's not like the Rayman Legends situation at least. It's been 2 years since the game launched on Wii U and 3DS, so, it's unfortunate but not truly terrible.

As I said in response to another comment, it's passable.
For starters; you're comparing a track-racer, versus an open-level shooter. These tracks are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than each level in SF Zero, so there's more room for higher-res textures.
Secondly, also keep in mind that the Gamepad is actually being used as a second viewpoint in SF: Zero; so the system is rendering the same world, in-sync with the TV, from a different viewpoint, at 60 fram...
Technically it DID start off as a Wii title...
Either way; keep in mind the system is rendering two viewpoints of the same world TWICE at 60FPS; which means the console is actually sending out a 60 frame signal in-sync with the TV screen. That's 60fps direct and 60fps wireless, meaning 120 fps being pushed out in two directions.
That's actually rather impressive, which sorta-kinda gives the devs a pass.
Seeing that it "exceeded" their expectations, that means that they must've been really happy with its performance on the Wii U.
That's great to hear, especially when so many believe that it sold poorly and as a result, should be brought over to other platforms.
Sorry peeps — it wasn't happening before and it certainly isn't happening now.
If I were paid a dollar for every time that someone has mentioned the NX, I think by now I'd be somewhere close to millionaire status.
Honestly people; we don't even know what the thing is.
Focus on the task at hand.
Twice per day? The maps are rotated twice every 4 hours; 2, 6 and 10 [EST]. Which means there are 6 rotations in a 24 hour period.
Yes, it does.
Nintendo has spent the majority of this year pushing Splatoon literally up to the moon, and it's paid off. Super Mario Maker is also getting some amazing coverage too. Not to mention that the system's Indie scene is also on fire.
While it hasn't pulled any numbers that'll make anyone go wow, it's still serving its purpose as a product. Nintendo wiped ALL of their losses ages ago, and they've continued to make a steady amo...
They aren't talking about the NX. The community is.
And I have yet to understand why we're comparing a market with an 11-year difference.
As long as the system is profiting; that's all that matters. Now if they were burning money, yeah, complain. But if its lining their pockets — who's complaining OUTSIDE of the company that's SUPPOSED to care?
I don't believe people are STILL port-begging for this. Honestly; it's been a year — get over it.
Neither Sony, Microsoft or SEGA cared to revive the game. Nintendo were the ONLY ONES who checked. They FUNDED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME; thus making it THEIR game.
Going by this logic, MS should ask Naughty Dog to bring Uncharted to the XBOX One, and Sony should ask Turn 10 to bring over Forza.
@Moldybread
Don't you think that's gonna do more harm than good though? Think about it.
One of the main factors that threw people off the Wii U is the fact that they were still attached to their PS3s and 360s — and that was after 7+ years of them being on the market.
If the NX were to launch next year, both the PS4 and XBO would only be roughly 3 years old. There's no telling if we'll have an extended generation again, but eve...
Nintendo has a history of announcing a console and following up with a release one year later.
A.) We don't know WHAT the NX is to begin with.
B.) It hasn't been FORMALLY ANNOUNCED yet, so 2017 will more than likely be its year.
C.) That means Wii U still has some time on the front lines, so it needs games.
Actually, I think that mechanic was really well implemented.
It created a sense of urgency; practically a realistic one. Think about it — you're stuck on an alien world with very little resources, and your only protection from the dangerous inhabitants are these tiny little creatures that just so happen not to be vicious.
It made it feel like a survival game as well as strategy since you knew that just like in real life, you couldn't goof around and d...
I forgot which interview, but Miyamoto did say that they actually tested Pikmin on 3DS and weren't happy with the results. Makes sense; a game like that needs a lot of screen real estate, especially since your characters are like an inch off the ground.
And yet; amiibos are optional. Why shun it?
Fell in love with Pikmin 3. I NEED this!
Glad to see someone remembered NFS. I put almost 80 hours into it; awesome racing title, only eclipsed by MK8. Had Slightly Mad not pulled an EA, maybe pCARS would've been better.
I own it.
Really it's a hit and miss. It has some good ideas, however, they're too much experiments. It didn't feel like there was a lot of true consistence, albeit, it's not a bad title (NOT like 06 or Boom)
