A laptop is a portable desktop.
The Switch is a portable home console.
It may resemble a handheld, but that doesn't make it one.
A laptop is the same as a desktop except it has all of the components condensed into a compact, portable unit. In like manner, the Switch is the same as a home console, except it has a small form factor that allows it to be taken on the go.
You have folks who don't take their laptops out of the house. Likewise, you will have folks who probably will rarely take their Switch away from the TV dock.
No 3D Zelda game has ran at 60FPS, whether it be on console or handheld.
I adored the original Splatoon, so I see no problem with this being similar to it. The concept was nailed really well, so building on something that already works should NOT be seen as a negative.
It's the laptop of consoles...it's a fully-fledged system that just so happens to be fitted into a portable form factor. Nintendo itself has described the Switch as being a "home gaming system".
The Switch is NOT a portable. Nintendo has continously called it its newest "home gaming system". This is a home console that just so happens to be in a portable form factor. It's the laptop of game consoles.
"A tweet from 16 days ago and the official site prove nothing. "
You really should just stop now. You have this comment section littered with responses; you want this to be true so badly. Why on earth did they just show off an entire trailer and gameplay video at the Game Awards RUNNING ON WII U, if it was cancelled? Just stop.
It's not really impossible. The PS4 wasn't exactly super advanced when it was released; keep that in mind. On top of that, Nintendo has never released a system that was weaker than past systems.
The folks who did the NES Mini emulation are different than the team that handled the Virtual Console titles.
Nintendo has officially described this as being a "home gaming system" , not to mention all of the games that have shown off for it so far have all been console titles.
Criterion was put in charge of Need for Speed after they completed Paradise. They worked on NFS: Hot Pursuit 2010 and Most Wanted 2012 before being separated to form a new studio called Ghost Games which has been handling the series since NFS Rivals. Criterion is still active and is currently working on an unnamed new IP.
I'd love to see a new Burnout. Paradise was (and still is) my love.
Every product has a 'gimmick':
"a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or trade."
There's nothing stopping the Switch from having enough power to run any game that the PS4/XBO can. Nvidia even confirmed that it's an easy process. http://venturebeat.com/2016...
We have no idea of how powerful it really is, but Nintendo has never made a system that was weaker than past hardware.
Pardon me, but who is "you morons"?
I own neither a PS4 or Xbox One; I left my comment simply because this situation has come up multiple times over the past three years, and it was just as nonsensical then as it is now. My point is that both versions of the game still look very close to each other and run exactly the same—that's all that matters.

Who cares? As long as the textures look good and the framerate is stable, then that's fine. Anyone who's getting bent out of shape over such a small difference like this really needs help, lol.
It may turn out to be true, eventually.
The console is flawed—there's no denying that. Even so, as someone who's owned it basically since the beginning, I can say that it has some really good points too. Despite all the jeers, it has provided me with dozens upon dozens of hours of entertainment across many different titles. I don't regret owning one. I just hope Nintendo takes account of the mistakes and shortcomings of the Wii U and uses them as lessons to make...
You obviously didn't read the article.
No opinion is "useless". This is the Internet, where anyone is free to share their thoughts, just as you shared yours. Do you have a problem with that? Well, then get off Internet.
Really starting to think you must be paid to patrol the Wii U section and look for any which way to spread negativity. I don't say this often, but come on man, get a life.
Doesn't look incredibly different from the previous game, but then again there's YouTube's compression to take into consideration. Either way, I'm keeping my eye on it.
