Completely agree. It's very hard to believe that they are playing the game I am. Maybe they simply have their PSEye set up wrong, but parts in the article like the ones you mentioned make me feel as if they simply didn't even play the game.

@Ico92, I think you might be referring to Dead Space 2, since Dead Rising 2 is already released and not in multiplayer beta. And actually Dead Space 2's multiplayer component is a lot of fun, but needs a lot more work with balancing. As for this article, I am going to have to agree with ChronoJoe, in my opinion the game was pretty awful by design. I felt that the voice acting, the script/story, the psychopath fights, the fighting mechanics, and in general half the gameplay mechanics all n...

@discstu37, heh, well no offense intended, but actually I'd consider myself decently familiar with Blizz and their development timeframes. Please note that I was referring to one of those I listed as just being "in development" by the time WoW concludes, and that their new MMO they're working on now will have released (should be assumed considering it's 6-7 years away.

As for WoW and it's expansions, if you're suggesting that they won't have ...

Yeah they'll inevitably keep making expansions for probably another 6-7 years, raising the level cap by 5 levels each expansion until they reach 100. By then though, they'll already have either WoW 2, World of Starcraft, World of Diablo, or another MMO in development, as well as having already released whatever their current "new" MMO project is.

The problem was the fact that if a vendor had two of the same exact weapon, one would be priced higher than the other, so you buy the cheap one, and for some reason can sell it back for more gold than what you bought it. You rinse and repeat and can drain all their money, than wait between one and three days time, and you can do it again.

The are much more crucial big issues I am hoping they fixed with this tough. For starters, there are over at least four areas in the game w...

At roughly 32-33GB in size, I don't think that would be fun for anyone, haha. Sony's servers would be under a ton of stress with everyone trying to get it that had the HDD room, and downloads would take some people days to complete. Another title would be cool, but I don't think MGS4 is a possibility.

I've gotta say, that while the game is pretty fun, I'm also pretty surprised by the sheer amount of issues that I've had already. I also was expecting a decent change in overall gameplay mechanics, and while it was altered, I don't really think it was a significant change. I'm glad for the option of Hardcore mode, but other than that, you can pretty much play the game the same exact way you would play FO3.

Beyond the random crashes, I've had a pretty d...

In all the times I've watched X-Play or seen him on other shows, he stands apart greatly from other journalists and reviewers, because it shows that he really loves what he does. He doesn't try and be some character, and regardless of the genre or platform he just loves gaming and talking all about it. He definitely gets my respect.

@Lifendz, yeah I'm in the same predicament. Sadly though, you are accurate in saying that you would need a separate PS+ account for EU in order to get the content. I really do hope we get it soon, because I haven't and won't be paying for the F3 content.

I rented New Vegas today and have been playing through that, but I won't be buying it because it inevitably will be getting a GOTY edition by next year with all DLC included. As for the other games you mentio...

When I downloaded the theme about 35-40 minutes ago, they were at around 1400 ratings, now they're over 2100 ratings on the theme. I'm hoping I managed to get in too, but it's tough to tell without every one of the downloads giving a rating.

I think dual analog sticks are very probable, but the other huge feature for me, would be an HDMI out. As much as I love the ability of gaming on the go, I would also like the ability to display on a large screen, and through HDMI would look best. In addition, I'm hoping there is further expansion of cross compatibility with the PS3. Overall, I think my personal desired look and functionality of the PSP2 would be that of the Dualshock 3 controller, with an HDMI out and a nice size screen....

Like Jukins said, Amazon has been getting a lot of exclusive DLC as well, and in addition to the DLC, they have been offering a lot of Amazon gift cards with the purchases. Castlevania had a $20 gift card, Medal of Honor has a $20 gift card, and a lot of other upcoming games have between $10 and $20 in gift cards.

My best suggestions for buying games:

For used games, use a combination of Gamefly and GoHastings. Both of them seem to always give you the origi...

@zeeshan, I've used Gamefly before and I have a few thoughts on the matter. With Gamefly, if you were planning to get it, you definitely should get the deal that gives you 2 games out at a time. Depending on where you live, it can take over a week to get a new game in after you send the old one in. Having 2 games at a time at least gives you more chance to still have a game.

The benefits to Gamefly, is that they have a massive selection of games, and even some of the mor...

I would be a bit disappointed if they didn't include melee weapons. In the original Deus Ex, I thoroughly loved the fact that you could play the game any way you wanted, and that melee was actually a viable means of combat. If they completely remove that in favor of the "takedowns", I believe that would be a major mistake. Not to mention, as they currently have been shown off, I think the takedowns are far too overpowered. I don't think it's a bad idea, I just would like...

@Hellsvacancy, Deus Ex 3 was indeed done by Eidos, who was bought by Square Enix, who are now the producers of the title. Basically, they help fund the project, promote it, take a cut of the profits, and technically they get final say in some of the content (such as what DLC will be like, when the game releases, what content might be too "controversial" which has to be edited, etc). They aren't developing the game in any manor though. Technically speaking, they could screw the g...

You know technically speaking, they could get Nolan North to perform the full role of Nathan Drake. I say this because he performs a lot of the actual acting in the mo-cap studio, and he has performed a bunch of live-action roles already as well. Heck, even Emily Rose (Elena) and Richard McGonagle (Sully) are regular actors as well. I think fans would love this, namely because taking a voice actor and using them in the live-action movie iteration of a game has possibly never been done before....

Not a huge fan of this list. Though I agree with the top 3, there are a lot of games that I don't think belong on that list, and a lot that do which were excluded (Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance, and Yakuza 3/4 being the most obvious omissions), as well as a lot of games I would completely re-order. That's my personal opinion though.

I bought Yakuza 3 release day because I love the game series, I highly support it's creators, and because I wanted to see Yakuza 4 get localized. I think Sega has learned from their mistakes, and I believe Yakuza 4 will retain almost everything. It's like Homicide said, Yakuza 3 still had more content than a vast majority of other games out there, regardless of the cuts. And while Sega did make a big mistake cutting the content, should that blemish mark them off entirely as a develope...

jdktech, I'll try and help with what I can here.

As for headsets, I could suggest a few. First off, I have personal experience with Plantronics headsets on PS3, and I've enjoyed them a lot. They are cheap, reliable, provide good quality audio, and last pretty long (usually around 8-10 hours of active game time, sometimes more). I'm just now about to replace my original Plantronics 320 Explorer which I bought back when the PS3 launched. Right now, you can get a Pla...

@DigitalEnemy, I am a day one subscriber as well, and I have to say with as much as I've saved in discounts and as much as I've loved the service so far, I am really hoping they expand these two months more. So far, each month I've found something really worth-while, and I've thoroughly enjoyed all the perks of PS+, but this month and next seem a little less impressive. I know a lot of people got into this for different reasons, but the thing that I personally got into it for ...
