Yeah I definitely agree. It's well worth checking out, especially now since a lot of places have it marked down to around $40. If you enjoy Japanese culture and games with good story, this is a must-buy. It's sort of a cross RPG/Beatem up/open-world game, with a near endless amount of content and side-missions. And you don't need to worry about missing out on things from prior games, because there is a long informative optional narrative with scenes you can view, which will fill y...

Completely agree with those man, and mrbilly is right, a lot of their focus is going to be on the RPG elements and in general using all of Deus Ex 1 as reference. I have to say first and foremost that after I saw this trailer when it was originally posted a few days ago, I was actually blown away. It could be partly because I have been impatiently awaiting a real sequel (I know HR is going to be prequel, but you know what I mean), but it is really starting to feel like they are taking this in...

Yeah, I would mostly agree with the article except for his choices on games. I think there were a lot better choices that could have been made. And I mean, most obviously, I don't agree with Deus Ex. Every fellow gamer I know who owns a PC still loves that game and finds no problem playing it. I go back to replay that game at least once each year, and I love every moment of it.

Graphically it's not astounding anymore, but any game that's over 10 years old isn'...

I'm with a few other people on here. This doesn't quite seem to be a "most amazing swords" or "best swords" list, it's more like a "most popular swords" or "most well-known swords" list. Which is fine, but I don't agree that these are the best chosen or ranked properly by their power/usefulness, and the list is definitely missing some key stuff.

Hands down, The Dragonslayer ("Sword of the Berserk" on Dreamcast ...

@Omimasum, I couldn't agree more. I still enjoy going back to the original Deus Ex to this day, and seeing what new things I can figure out. And I am still finding new things! That says something, because I've probably played through the game well over a dozen times.

You know, after such a long wait for DX3's announcement and arrival, it's impossible for me not to be completely stoked. I've addressed my issues of concern before (the health system topic whi...

Awesome. This would be great news. And on that note, every one of the replies here has hit a key game or game series that really deserves a revamping. With all that they did to the GoW collection, if that same amount of quality enhancement and added content is provided, I feel that definitely makes it worth purchasing. And there are a LOT of games I would love to see handled this way, and would definitely warrant a $40 purchase for me. My favorites and definite interests for remakes would pro...

I really hope he reconsiders this. Whenever it comes to seeing the Joker in any way aside from the actual Batman movies, the only voice that fits the Joker is Mark Hamill's version. He is definitely one of my favorite voice actors, along with Cam Clarke, Nolan North, Steven Blum, and of course David Hayter.

Yeah I'm just waiting for mine to come in the mail. Originally I had it pre-ordered at Gamestop, but after seeing Amazon's offers, I changed my pre-order. All the good deals amazon has been having with bonus credit on games has been awesome, and with the Ratchet and Clank skins/cars added onto the $10 credit, I decided it was more worth it to me.

I can also say, that after being in the beta, then getting to try the demo, I am mighty impressed by all the changes and i...

I read somewhere that the next Gamepro issue was going to have a full blowout on KZ3, so this might be from that. In any case, all I can say is, woah! This is pretty awesome.

I completely agree, but I have to say that between myself and a couple friends, there are a bunch of people who have had pretty poor single player experiences as well. For example, I myself have had way too many bugs and glitches occur, some of them even game-breaking, that have ended up draining a lot of the fun aspect.

Like the other day, I had played through a mission where you need to get a deed for an old guy's property and give it this other guy with a dowsing rod ...

Great list there man (I got good laugh with the Pete and Pete box set), and even the original site's list is pretty solid. I think you hit most of the series I would have mentioned there though. Here's a few myself that I would like to see.

For starters, I really want to see that the World of Darkness MMO is finally nearing some sort of final state and can be shown to the public. (for those unaware, World of Darkness is the all inclusive reference to all the tabletop ...

Heh, I'm looking into what you use Sticky White stuff for as well, but I can tell you that it's a Demon's Souls reference. One of the items you get in Demon's Souls is called Sticky White Stuff.

That white creature gives you a large chunk of money if you kill him, but he moves really fast and can run away quick after getting a cheap hit or two in. You'll notice that those white blobs and the large blue dragons are random appearances. The dragon you should ...

I have a pretty good feeling they will continue the trilogy (pending at least partially on sales and reception of WKC2), but what is meant more than anything is that this one won't have so many loose ends left open by the end of the game. As much as I really liked WKC1, they left quite a lot unexplained, and I don't know that it's necessarily a good thing when you have to wait over a year or more to find out what happens next on as many things as they left open. People will tend t...

Completely agree with you on those. Although, on your first point, you actually can skip what NPC's say line by line, just by hitting X. Though everything else I completely agree on and couldn't have said better.

I think key aspects that you touched on were points 2 and 5. Grinding away in certain areas for the larger stones can become quite tiring, so having an item that might something like the Horadric Cube in Diablo 2 would be quite useful (for those unaware, the...

If I remember right, I think the Japanese version of WKC1 had optional English Subtitles, which if that's the case this time around, I might import it just in case they take a while with localization again. I really liked the first game and am still playing it online a lot, though there were a few areas they could touch up (mostly in the story mode) to make it overall more solid, fun, and enjoyable. So far, after reading some of the news on the changes they have been making to WKC2, it so...

I'm very excited to see where they take it as well. To be honest, I wasn't as much a fan of the first Condemned, but when the second one released, I enjoyed it quite a lot. I felt that they revised enough of the combat and weapons system just right, and the way they made it so much eerier and even darker, I was very impressed and can't wait for them to announce the third installment.

For things I would like to see happen, I would like to see more weapon variety (...

Thanks man! I couldn't agree more. As much as I love my PS3, I believe that starting as a PC exclusive would've made more sense. They could begin with as few limits as possible on PC, then when the game is complete, they could be at work making an adaptation for consoles while it's being localized for other countries and released all over. In my opinion, this would yield the best product overall for each platform, at least in this specific case.

If you remember t...

This is perhaps one of my most anticipated titles coming up that I am very excited for. Though to be honest, I am still skeptical and sort of disappointed with their choice to use a regenerating health system. I know the topic has already been beaten to death, but it doesn't change the fact that most of the old fans still are unhappy with it, and the DX3 forums are riddled with complaint topics about it.

I believe, since most TPS's and FPS's nowadays use a regene...

Wow, this was a horrid, awful review. And to add, the reviewer couldn't even pronounce the Japanese names and locations correctly. I don't usually speak out on these things, but something has to be said about this. The reviewer obviously didn't "get it", and from what I can tell, he simply refuses to relate to any Japanese culture, thus he insisted on giving the game a low score. His use of comparisons to other games are far-fetched and unintelligent, and his lack of com...

Same here man. I pre-ordered ModNation when they added the $10 credit, I grabbed RDR when they bumped it up to a $20 credit, and 3D Dot Game Heroes I pre-ordered a long while ago. In the meantime awaiting 3D Dot Game Heroes, I've been browsing around their site, checking out everything about the game that they've shown so far.

Anyone else that's digging this game and wants to know or see more should swing over to
