I knew once some good reviews hit we'd see "Excuses". We already see less "Kinect will fail" articles today then in recent memory on this PS3 forsaken site. I guess since it's sold out everywhere and now apparently it's getting good reviews the Sony fanboys are going to have to grasp at something else now?

Are Sony fans really now complaining that the ad campaign is what is pushing Kinect? Really? I pre ordered mine after E3. I was impressed and saw the potential. To be honest, I still have yet to see a single Kinect commercial. I have seen Move advertised and I see those retarded Kevin Butler PS3 commercials as well as that ethnic kid who screams about the PSP.

Go to dealextreme.com and buy the 250 gig Xbox 360s HDD for like $50, it takes a couple weeks to get, but it's worth it. I have a 4 gig unit and a new 250 gig unit and both are amazing. I actually prefer the matte color on the 4 gb unit though, easier to clean and take care of.
Also right now you can get that 4 GB deal with a year of XBL and 1600 MS points and an extra controller for $249, then spend the extra $50 on the 250 gig HDD and your set! Best deal on the market today IMHO...
Microsoft wont put out a console years ahead of Sony and Nintendo. From the looks of things Sony and Nintendo are years and years from putting out new consoles. I tried it, but had it pre ordered before I tried it. Once I played it though in Orlando I was hooked, I've never laughed so much. I went to an event there with a few friends and we all had a blast, my friends all pre ordered Kinect after playing it that day. Those were "HARD CORE" gamers too. Yet they tried it and then bought it.

Try it and you'll want to buy it. I'm telling you, nothing quite like it out there. The voice commands are flawless, very little lag, cant wait to get mine.
I seriously doubt it helped or hurt it. Most people were either wanting to get it or not, though I suspect some here said they weren't interested and then went ahead and got it anyway.
Get real, remember how Sony trashed Nintendo for using "Gimmicks" and claiming that they would never resort to using said gimmicks? They are too old for lollipops after all. Kinect is everywhere and I'm glad it's doing well. I bet day one there will be more people online using Kinect on XBL then online on every single PS3 game combined.
By a really large margin. I play the FPS, RPG's, Sports titles too. Kinect just is a lot of fun and fun is what gaming is all about right? So often competitive gaming is filled with such intensity, it'll be fun to just relax and goof off with some friends and crack a few beers or something. So yes I'm excited. I knew it would do well right from the start.

They have to be really happy with how this year has been. Outstanding right from the start. Fable 3 is off to an amazing start, grabbed my copy. Cant wait to pick up Kinect next week and Black ops, which though it's not a 360 exclusive...let's not kid ourselves, all COD are essentially 360 exclusives if you know what I mean...lol

I haven't played the first game in over ten years and I haven't played the second one in six years. I don't like to go back to games without achievements so it would be cool if they redid the first too and made them HD and added the Gamescroe ect...
To slap out some slightly upgraded last generation games and charge anything for them. You can still play Halo 1 or 2 on the XBox 360 because of a little thing called "Backwards compatibility". I know it's a odd concept for some people. HD remakes are just companies way's to milk the morons who are willing to pay.
