Party game for certain but that's not always a bad thing. I can see some possibilities with this.
3-D televisions would have to be in over 30% of homes for it to really be marketable In my opinion. When you look at how long HDTV has been around, even in the 1980's and then became viable in the 1990's and right now in 2010 we only have about 59% of people using that, you can see how integrating something like 3-D would do. Honestly I think they are trying to push it on us, rather then let us decide if we even want it. It used to be just P.C's would go out of date every few year...
It's one of the best reviewed games of all time. Nintendo is most popular in Japan so it makes sense. It doesn't really mean anything though. Pretty much people like Mario, which was no surprise at all.
Bundle that comes with 2 games, Wii motion plus for $199. I just am not sure on the pricing point on Move. I know it could potentially be really good, but for me I'd have to spend the $130 which is the $99 bundle and then an additional $29.99 for the nunchuk, then a whole new controller and Nunchuk as well. So maybe even more expensive then the Wii itself.
While I don't usually like or agree with this guy's articles, it's not 100% wrong. I will just have to wait and se...
Including the nunchuk. The $99 bundle and then $29.99 for the Nunchuk. That can be a bit confusing, at first when I watched E3 I thought the whole thing was the $49.99 or whatever. I also heard there is a re-charge station or something? It seems like it might get a bit pricey. I would right away have to get another complete controller as well, with Nunchuk. So I don't know right now. It's a maybe.
So I mean I think most people already knew the Xbox 360 could do that. I am not sure why people are getting upset or offended that it can run 3-D though? TO be honest 3-D isn't even needed right now and that makes the whole debate pointless.I saw Gears of War 2 running in 3-D a couple of years ago and it was okay, but I would never see myself playing games in 3-D or anything, the 3-D effect tends to give me severe headaches.
People should lighten up a bit though, I mean seriously ...
I think that is a bit too pricey certainly, but if the content is there then it probably wont matter. The only thing I'm kind of waiting on is to see some actual gameplay footage and some games. I wasn't really impressed with what I saw at E3.
I did Pre-order Kinect from Gamestop, and I wanted to do the same with Move but something is holding me back right now. I know I'll need an extra set of controllers right away, so maybe that's it, plus like I said I'd like to...
This is a bit much in my opinion. I was already planning on buying the PSN Premium service and I already have Gold XBL service. I am afraid another $15 monthly service on top of those might be a bit much.
Look's like I'll have to pass sadly.
The companies themselves set the online price for a MMORPG. I've only ever played Runescape which is $5 a month and I played Everquest which was like $7 a month. The money actually goes into maintaining servers and things like...
That was a beautiful 2-D classic game. I love the 2-D games, it takes me back to the good old days. Though I must admit I wasn't sure about Kirby as yarn? I trust Nintendo though, I am sure the gameplay is solid and the yarn thing just might take a little getting used to.
It is something new and nobody can claim Nintendo doesn't take a risk and innovate. So I'll probably give this a try, if only for nostalgia purposes.
Software. Nintendo always has so much more 1st and 3rd party software for their hand held systems.
I sold my PSP over a year ago because it just lacked quality titles, I mean it would have something nice here or there but overall it wasn't really much more then a way for me to watch movies on the go or listen to music. I hardly used it as a gaming device.
I was hoping that a new Hardcore hand held would come on the market and to my surprise the 3DS look's like it might...
I paid $10 for the game on Xbox 360. Thanks for the tip. FYI I live in Florida.
If you look back through history it comes and goes, I mean in the 50's it was basic, then in the 80's they improved it and now they improved it again. I just did a little research for a paper and HDTV was around in the 1980's and was viable in the 1990's really. However even now in 2010 there is only a 60% attach rate to HDTV's. Meaning their is still 40% of people using regular televisions.
This was one of the reasons they held off the digital conversion for so lo...
However, I'm more impressed with the graphics as a whole. I would actually see myself turning off the 3-D function for the most part. 3-D tends to strain my eyes and give me headaches. The graphics look like Gamecube style, which is really good. Also the online features and lineup of games is impressive. My biggest complaint with the PSP was the lack of quality titles. That doesn't look to be an issue with the Nintendo Hand Helds. They put out quality first party Hand Held games and i...
It's a definite upgrade over the older models. It's quiet and runs as cool as the Slim PS3. So it's a nice piece of hardware. IF your on the fence as to get it as an upgrade, I would say go for it.
I think people should let others like what they want to.
I like all the consoles equally and spend about as much time on them all equally as well.
Kinect looks interesting, especially if you are into casual gaming, which I am to an extent. I'm also into technology and the controller free video controls look pretty darn cool. I pre-ordered one from Gamestop, If I see something a bit more on Move, I'll Pre-order that too. I just didn't exactly see a ton at E3 from it...
I Was really looking forward to the Demo and now maybe I can get a few Achievements as well.
I went down to gamestop and paid $100 to hold it for me. If it turns out to be $149, I'll just make up the difference later this year. I was a bit tapped out from getting the 360s and I grabbed Demon Souls on PS3 as well, which I hear is pretty good.
I might get Move, if I see a bit more from it. I wasn't really satisfied with the E3 showing. So it's a wait and see.
He's not wrong here. I was thinking all along that Natal or (Kinect) would be between $99 and $119. The $149 thing is just to have a price to hold people too so they can pre-order it.
I think most people are thinking Microsoft is going after Sony and the Move, in reality they are going after Nintendo. If it turns out Kinect is $99 and there is a 360s Arcade for $199, which was confirmed yesterday, then even if you bought both separately it would only be $299. I believe that would...
Isn't this just speculation? I don't think we can buy into it right now. I believe the original tech was only for two people, but Microsoft improved it.
Also, I think it wouldn't be wise to poke fun at Kinect, since Move takes up a USB hub and there are only two of those on the PS3 Slim. Which means you may need Blu Tooth hubs or something like that for more then two Move users to play at the same time.
I wish people would read the articles right, it's rumor. I...
I Pre-ordered it at Gamestop and as long as it's not over the $149 then I think it is a good value. How can people defend things like 3-D but then attack tech like this? I mean I think Move can be something cool as well. If you look into Move like I have it's $99 for the bundle and $29 for the Nunchuk. So $130. Personally I think Kinect will be between $99 and $119 because they will want to stay under that $130 price. If it's your thing then cool, if not please don't trash tho...
