It's just not a good comparison. Look at Haze or the first Killzone, both those games carried that label. killzone 2 is not a very old game, but more people play Star Wars Battlefront 2 online on the Ps2 right now then play Killzone 2. People played kZ2 for a few weeks and then moved on.
Halo has been amazing from the start, which is another difference. To me Killzone games and Halo games are two totally different things. Halo fans are rabid and love their game, Killzone fans fal...
Is the party system at the moment. I know over 3.5 million are playing it on the 360 and so that's probably some of the issue, but in two hours of playing with a full party, we got into a single game about 4 times. If you get into a lobby with just a single person, it'll never import other players, so your pretty much screwed. Other then the party system I love it. Having 8 person party chat enabled again is a huge plus as well. Good job Treyarch.
The game is pretty good, plenty of competition. Less camping and I haven't been Noob Tubed yet. I wish more people ran "Spy Plane" or UAV, but it's still a more solid outing and more fun then MW2. I am enjoying it.
Is my favorite NES title. I think we all can look back and find faults, but to be honest that's just human nature because hindsight is truly 20/20. Personally as a gamer in my 20's I cant stand to play older titles anymore, especially NES era. The games were boring, hard and sometimes impossible to play, you didn't realize it at that time, but games were such trash.
Mario 3 was easily my favorite and I can still play that one to this day.
Microsoft is lighting it up this year! Good stuff.
It hit 3.7 Million last night around 10:30 p.m. est.
I admit, I'm hooked on the game, there isn't any of the issues MW2 had, the maps are pretty solid, guns with no stopping power is a blessing to be honest, it evens things out. This game is well deserving to have that many players.
:)
I do use Gamefly for games like God Of War 3, which has no online and was a quick campaign. Fable 3 is different, it offers online and you can replay it on different sides and get different results.
Why pay $64 for something just to trade it in and get $25 back? It doesn't make sense.
On every show, billboard, magazine. it's everywhere. People are all talking about it, it's the new Furbie or tickle me Elmo. It truly is the "Must have" Holiday item. Laugh or doubt it all you want, but fanboys hearts must be breaking all over at this time.
If your a Microsoft fan, I expected it to be honest, it's only going to get better since it's getting closer to Christmas, it's definitely the Must have item this year. I'm glad I got mine, I couldn't be happier with it! Kinect Adventures will be Platinum in no time!
They must be playing the Wii version, graphics on the 360 version look stellar, better then MW2 IMHO. The lush and colorful environments are a great thing to see as well, thing's look very detailed. I love the game so far, not to say some BS wont pop up, but this game is actually enjoyable, though it was hard to get into a match last night with 3 million people on at the same time on XBL.
That's a lot of people, quick check on Halo Reach shows around 1 million on there and MW2 still has almost a million. People like their XBL!
At least my area of Central Florida. All three Gamestop's sold out, Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Best Buy and Toys R Us. You can only get rain checks.
Good luck with that.
It's the lead platform and MS enjoys a good partnership with Activision. So it's no surprise really. I own both consoles and have always thought the 360 version superior, not just graphically, but with XBL and the amount of players that use XBL.
I live in Florida and I was only able to get the one I pre-ordered way back around E3.
I asked, they checked, none left. Not saying there wont be any to find some places. I could get a rain check they said or whatever. They were saying they didn't expect there to be enough in stock to just walk in and find one until next year. Good luck to those that can find them, I was hoping to surprise my little bro with one for Christmas.
That's just a rumor funded by the Microsoft Nation. Sony never has faulty products. I'm sure some of that Billion Microsoft is spending on Kinect and the Windows phone was filtered down to get people to talk bad about Sony.
It's nothing like 32x. I know people or rather Sony fans tried to make that comparison, it's just an attempt to wish something would fail this time. If you didn't know anything about video game history then you would make a stupid statement like that.
32x failed because Sega was in flux, it should have made the 32x a console in and of itself. Sega abandoned it right at launch and started working on the Saturn. Microsoft will not abandon Kinect, it's going to sell 5+ ...
Try it and you'll want to buy it. I was at the midnight launch. For the launch of a console, which is exactly what this is, the games are fun and you cant ask for much more then that. It's why we play games in the first place. I am sure there are heartbroken PS3 fanboys here today. The main reason is because Kinect is literally everywhere, secondly the reviews are solid, the game reviews are solid. Thirdly the console itself is selling like crazy.
I'd suggest Son...
I loved the old Donkey Kong games, this one looked great but I didn't want to get too excited, now it's good to see the franchise is back and looking better then ever. Cant wait to get it.
