Milk it some more guys.
This list is a bit bogus IMHO.
Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Fable 3, Metro 2033, Splinter Cell Conviction, Crackdown 2, Mass Effect 2, Ninety Nine Nights 2, should all be on their, glad they put Black Ops on the XBox 360 list though as it's best played on the XBox 360. I consider most Multiplatform games as 360 exclusives anyway, so it's a solid list, I'd just have added the few more I listed to complete it.
The maps sound pretty good. Ice Hockey stadium sounds sick! I have always enjoyed Treyarch's map packs. The ones for WAW were amazing, also 5 maps are much better then the 3 we got on MW2, with a couple being COD4 maps. Cant wait!
I hardly look at games like Resistance and Killzone as "Beyond anyone else out there" to be honest. I enjoyed God Of War 3, but honestly beyond the 5 hour story, there is nothing else to it. Not worth dropping $60 on for sure.
Same with a lot of Sony games, their online communities lack staying power and the online numbers that XBL offers, which is a large reason I stick with XBL.
I own around 90 XBox 360 games, and 75% of those I purchased new, whi...
I love the COD games and I'm surprised at how many good titles Activision actually puts out. As an avid XBox 360 fan I really try to show my support to developers when they release a game on that console. No matter if it's a 1st party or 3rd party game, I buy it new (If I think I'll like it).
Now with Sony made games, I usually Gamefly them or buy them used, I don't really like to support them to be 100% honest.
On that note I actually have boyc...
I already skipped all that crap... except Kinect. I<3 Kinect.
The game sold less then Medal Of Honor, which was the worst FPS I've ever seen. Not saying much for MAG.
Glad I held off to get mine, planning on grabbing mine tomorrow afternoon! Microsoft cant be stopped! Great stuff.
Since when is 1 million considered "good" anymore? Aren't AAA titles supposed to easily pass this mark and much, much earlier on? For all the flack Alan Wake got, it has sold more then MAG, yet people still keep saying it had "Disappointing" numbers.
I love hypocrisy!
Also, notice how the PS3 fans are all on board with VGChartz for a "pro PS3" sales skew, but with things like XBox 360's or Kinect it's always "Wr...
As long as by "Definitive" they mean the version that cannot import your character and classes and decisions from the first Mass Effect then yea, it's pretty damn definitive.
Seriously, not sure who would be able to get into this game without playing through the first one, the import system is so unlike any other thing out there, it wasn't just a few little things, it was tons of big things and even minor ones that all added up to give people a "Mass E...
So Microsoft get's "Epic Fail" labels, even though this past E3 was what got me interested in Kinect in the first place. I guess some fanboy articles don't have much in the way of actual research.
Looks sweet. Crytek does good work, hope they didn't focus all on graphics, they need a great story and solid controls as well.
I've enjoyed the Rare XBox 360 games greatly. They have more color and lush graphics then most other games this generation.
I went out of my way to get Perfect Dark Zero, Banjo Kazooie and all the Viva Pinata games. All those games scored well and play wonderfully.
I'd love to see a new Perfect Dark or a platforming Banjo game next year for sure, but they are still doing good stuff IMHO.
Bubbles for you. I'm sure if PS3 were leading in the States most of these people would be fine with thinking and saying the States is everything. The fact of the matter is the USA buys the most consoles, games, accessories. Who wouldn't try to win the USA?
I believe that's why XBox does so well here. It's more American then the competition. I run a gaming clan/community that has both 360 and PS3 players and teams and the PS3 people in the clan/community are al...
No surprise there, Kinect is this years "Must have" Christmas item.
Glad I got mine release date. Knew it would be huge ever since I saw it at this years epic E3 showing. Congratulations to Microsoft. Kinect will no doubt be the fastest selling electronic ever.
As well they should be. Nice to see Alan Wake pick up Accolades. It was very well done. Not sure why people are saying the sames are disappointing, not every exclusive sells 5 million copies, if we called every exclusive that didn't sell 5 million copies a letdown then every PS3 title except one would be a "Letdown"
Cant wait for a sequel, good to see XBox 360 games getting their dues. Limbo was amazing as well. Mass Effect 2 GOTY!
Thank God! I hate how games tack on poorly executed MP and think it will fool people. Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed Brotherhood I'm looking at you....
Nice list, I like the fact that even though Kinect won best innovation, that the Mass Effect import feature was mentioned. You literally import every character and decision into Mass Effect 2, it's never been done like that before. I mean whole characters are missing if you did things wrong.
Amazing. Definitely GOTY for me as well.
More casual gamers out there then "core" that should have clued in the fanboys to begin with. I consider myself "core" as well, but I darn well pre ordered Kinect after E3 and was there at the midnight launch. I've had a wonderful time playing it. Nothing better then having some friends over and drinking a bit and just having fun with gaming again.
5 Million is going to be easy to reach this year, the best part is the bundles are selling like crazy, so...
Already own them on XBox and the XBox 360 has backwards compatibility, so no. I'm not into the whole "Updated" previous generation games. It seems like a way to milk old games for cash. I mean I'm sure it's a cheap way for companies to slap something together for profit.
Backwards compatibility should be standard anyway on every console.
