That would be amazing! I love the Reach engine. That would keep in with their wanting a Halo game out every year. I would love to see Halo CE HD. Also a Halo Wars 2 would be welcomes, What a year that would be huh? Two Halo games and Gears 3. Wouldn't get any better then that!

I live in Florida, I pre ordered one the day after E3. I tried to pre order another one to give as a gift to my little brother for the holidays, Gamestop is done taking pre orders for them here. Too much demand they said. I've seen this same situation all over, and while I do think companies do this to try to push consoles, like Nintendo or Sony with the PS2 and PS3 now, I think with all the pre orders and hype with Kinect that Microsoft would want everyone to buy one who want's one. ...
First off COD MW2 sold over 20+ million. I own both the PS3 and 360 version. On the 360 there is well over 500k to 1 million players at a time, especially on weekends. On PS3 it's around 90k, never seen more then 175k on it, while that number is okay, it's nowhere near the competition on 360 and there are around 45k teams on Gamebattles for the 360 version compared to 1200 on PS3.

The Wii is so far ahead and has quality Nintendo first party titles. Move is just a "add on" it's not ever going to really catch on, especially in the states. Kinect is it's own thing, I pre ordered it yea, I can see the potential but even so, it wont catch Wii. Though it'll be successful.
GT5 pre orders were terribly low, where as Halo Reach pre orders were high, same with Fabl3 3, Black Ops, Force Unleashed 2 and even Kinect Adventures had more pre orders. So I doubt we'd see a spike in PS3 sales for a game delayed 5+ years with such a small number of pre orders. I too was a fan of the series back in the day, but it hasn't evolved.

I hope the other companies look to Microsoft to see how to actually make money on their items. Xbox live should be the basis for which every gaming console maker develops their online to be. Nothing matches it. Their interface is heads and shoulders above the rest. I'll take quality and actual users over "Free" anyday. To me a Call Of Duty game just isn't the same unless there is like 2 million users online at a time and 40+ thousand Gamebattles teams active.

I think it was a combination of Kinect, Fable 3, Black ops and Force Unleashed 2 all coming out around the same time. The Pre orders for GT5 were quite low, Fable 3, Kinect Adventures, Black Ops, Force Unleashed 2 were all ahead of it. So it's not that far fetched.

Since none of us actually work for Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft, maybe we can give it a rest? Play what you want, if your a gamer, a true gamer...you like to game. You might have your preferred controller or console, but bottom line is, you like to game. That's all that matters. Why argue over such idiotic things?
Dice made the online, I'd be interested in the offline campaign to be honest, but the online is just too BFBC for my tastes. I hate shooters that don't let you go prone. Except for Halo, that's the only game in the genre I can stand that is like that, but it's because it's an arcade style, where as BFBC and MOH are supposed to be realistic style. I like to hit the dirt when bullets are coming my way.
The thing with games for me is, they have to have a lasting appeal.Halo, Gears, Call Of Duty, Left 4 Dead ect all have long lasting online gameplay. I have Gamefly which honestly I use for PS3 titles. God Of War 3 was great, but short and no online play, so it's not worth it to buy for me. I skip games without a solid online mode to be honest, which means I'll pick up a COD game over an exclusive sometimes.
They are clearly making money this way. Yes Sony has a lot of studio's but they release too many games for people to really "buy into them". So many of their titles are overlooked because they release games too close together. They would probably have much more success by launching a top tier title every 4 months or so. Why compete with yourself?

Glad to see so many exclusives at launch. I ordered 4 of those titles. Sega and Ubisoft have a lot to offer it seems. I cant wait to get mine. I'm a "core gamer" but I see the possibilities and something different can be achieved with Kinect. Soon all the "Kinect will fail" articles will stop, I mean how can something launching by selling millions and being sold out everywhere be considered a failure?

People are interested in it, it's going to push consoles and they have a decent lineup to start with, I know I have Kinect pre ordered and 4 games pre ordered, including Sonic Free Riders. It's release is perfect timing for those looking for Christmas gifts, due to the high demand, it'll sell well above the 4 million this year alone that was projected.
I still remember the Burger King games that came out a few years ago, quite fun for only a few dollars each. I buy nothing but Pepsi products anyway, so more good news. I'm glad Microsoft is showing how to correctly launch something. As I've been saying for months, Kinect is a "Soft console" launch.
