Just a gamer who likes to talk about games

Plus they lag much more IMHO. The Wii is about as Accurate as a blind person at a shooting range. Kinect is something new and I for one am excited for it and I don't care how many disagrees I get on a website. It's a positive article and most about Kinect have been, yet when anyone here tries to say anything positive they get slammed. I've never been one to care much about what people think about me, so to each their own. Not sure why someone would be upset about Kinect doing well...

I got to play it at an event in Orlando, Florida and it was almost spot on. I mean you cant complain, especially compared to the Wii and Move, which use bulky controllers. I cant wait till November 4th! Can you say Midnight launch? Kinect has been all over twitter today, everyone and their mother was using it and praising it today. Cant wait.

The maps are colorful and vast. The controls are not weighted or clunky in the least. While I'm not in the Killzone 3 beta, I have seen the same video's everyone else has. Grey on Black, black on grey. To each their own, but it is tiresome hearing how great KZ2 was, yet there is like seriously 5 people online on it. More people are playing Doom 1 on XBL (5 thousand) then the most anticipated PS3 title last year.

The first one was awful, the second one looked pretty, but by no means was it the best looking game ever. Bland backgrounds and no colors aren't exactly great for gaming. The game itself wasn't good, forgettable characters and story and clunky controls. The third looks like more of the same.
As far as colors and scope for consoles graphics, Crysis 2 has those beat, people just don't want to admit it because it's being played on the 360. Get over it. Rage looked fa...

He games all the time, big Halo fan and gamer and even did voice work for ODST. I saw some of the pictures he's uploaded via Twitter and he is always going to gaming events and talking about games.

I Can't do that now. Gamestop here has stopped all pre orders. I know this is technically an "Add on" but it's also a "Soft console" launch. So the fact that it's getting hyped and look's like it is going to sell really well is all the better. I'm glad it's doing so well. Microsoft is my favorite console maker and while this isn't "core" in the traditional sense, it's still going to have some fun stuff on it with the excellent Xbox...

It looks like MW2.5
Maybe not a bad thing, it's just I have a sour taste from MW2. I loved COD4, but they tried way too hard with MW2 and made it too noob friendly for my tastes. Killstreaks, camping, duel wield shotguns or pistols and yet can still knife someone? now sure how that works. The game itself wouldn't have been bad if not for the glitches and all that kind of BS stuff that ticks off gamers.

I already have Fable 3, Black Ops and Force Unleashed 2 pre ordered. I highly doubt GT5 comes out this year and after all the delays, who really cares anymore? I know I don't. The game was getting beat out in pre orders by Kinect Adventures. Not to mention going up against Kinect itself, Fable 3, Force Unleashed 2 and Black Ops, not exactly smart timing on their part.

The other two companies should have taken better notice of the original XBox live setup. The sad yet true fact is XBL 1.0 was better then either PSN and Nintendo have to offer now. Online is the biggest feature most gamers are looking for. To accomplish this you need a few key ingredients, great voice chat being one of the most important. I rarely run into a player on XBL without a headset and the voice chat is crystal clear. In fact the new dash update improved the voice chat even more, it&#...

I'm excited for this game, Epic does good work. Gonna be sick playing this on XBL with some teammates. Good times, good times...

Originally all I heard was "Kinect will do well only in America" So far it's been doing equally well all over. Cant wait to get the solid numbers of Units sold. Where 1 million sold means 1 million people bought one. Unlike the Move sales figures, which are saying "Units shipped" Combined with the fact that they count every nunchuk, wand and PS Eye as a "Move sale". It's a bit misleading.

As I said, third party multiplatofrm games are better on the 360, sell better on the 360 and are better suited for XBL.
Fable and Gears and Halo, while can be played on P.C. What company runs them? Windows, which is Microsoft. So they are Microsoft games. Get over the whole "Console exclusive" thing. It's an old excuse.

A third God Of War, Third Killzone, Third Resistance, Fifth Socom, fifth Metal Gear. Sony is the company milking franchises.
While the multiplatform games are on other consoles, there is no doubt that games like Call OF Duty are so much better on the 360. More competition, teams, less lag, Party chat ect... It's so much better suited for the 360 and XBL.

I love how diluted the Sony fans can be.

So sick of these types of stories on here. Hardcore gamers need to BUY GAMES. Sad fact is there are more casual gamers, so it makes sense game companies want to take advantage of that, it's up to us "Core gamers" to make a go of it and actually buy the games. I know personally I usually only buy games with solid online. I gamefly shorter single player games though.

5589d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

It's going to have to be a mix of casual and Core that will bring them the most success. It's a medium. The truth of the matter is there are more casual gamers then core gamers. So core gamers are going to have to step up and buy core games.

It's an option to gain some casual fans and maybe expand their fanbase. If your not into it, then don't get it. Microsoft will not let people down, next year could be a great year for the 360 as far as "Core" games goes. They haven't tipped there hand yet, which is a good thing. Microsoft always has something up their sleeves. We know Gears 3 for sure, which will keep me salivating all year. I'm also hoping for Halo Wars 2 and the Halo CE HD version. A new Perfect Da...

Technically, actually, figuratively and pretty much any other word you can fine or use. Not that it's not quality, but for me personally they went in the wrong direction, they should have focused on online. The PS2 was amazing because it was cheap, had games and was fun. Where the original Xbox was expensive, had great graphics and killer online. Microsoft took a page from the Sony book and put out a less powerful machine, but with games and killer online. Sony for some strange reason wen...

Plus they are too old for lollipops. So clearly Sony can do no wrong!

There isn't a shortage, it's all just a smokescreen. I can go into any store and buy Move. Nice ploy by Sony to try and use this tactic again....
