Actually the 360 has more overall exclusives then the PS3. Third party games are almost always better on the 360 ie Call OF Duty, Resident Evil, Red Dead ect...
Even last year despite all the talk for the "tons of Sony exclusives" Microsoft had more. So it's more of a personal preference. For me, it is all about XBOX Live. Unless you've experienced it on a regular basis, you wont get a full appreciation of the little things that all add up, To each their own.
Smash hit for sure. I know I'm happy with mine, I knew after E3 that I'd want one, so I pre ordered it and haven't looked back since.
With 2.5 million sold, we all know that means 2.5 million unique Kinects sold, Move is a bit trickier IMHO, because they count each wand, nunchuk and PS Eye as a "Move" sale.I'd be more interested in hearing Moves "bundle" sales.
All in all though, not bad for Microsoft and their "Next 32X add ...
This is great news! I loved Halo CE. Would love to see an update to it. The rumor a while ago was it was being made with the Reach engine which is amazing. Microsoft is going to bust some surprises out next year and I cant wait. Well played MS!
Not to start a whole "thing" here but Sony's idea of a "Move" unit is sketchy at best. Is it a single wand? Does every person buying a nunchuk add on count as a "move" sale? Same with the PS Eye. I think the fact that Move games themselves aren't selling is a very good indication that most people who bought Move also bought a secondary wand and the nunchuck attachment. With Kinect it's easier to track the actual sales, 2.5 million actual units sold.
I've had my Kinect since release date and I've played it often, I mean I'm still playing Reach and Black Ops but I play Kinect almost every day or so. I haven't gotten tired of it.
I often have friends over and everyone seems to love Dance Central and Kinect Sports. It's a blast! I just love how PS3 fans cant eat Humble pie though. EVERY PS3 FANBOY ON THIS SITE SAIT KINECT WAS THE NEXT 32X. What now?
Microsoft also had more exclusives t...
Where are all those "Kinect will fail" articles now? Thought so. Rack'em!
3-D TV=Fail. I knew people would hate the idea of wearing glasses to watch things or play games. It's been a fad since the 1950's and always comes and goes.
Plus since Avatar was huge and was in 3-D, we get bombarded with crummy movies that are in 3-D but offer no real substance. I didn't see Avatar in 3-D, I thought the movie was fair, but not the greatest ever. 3-D is just something flashy and yet we get no substance. It's sad really, I'll be glad when ...
I didn't even think Playstation plus was still around? Figured it died out with Home a while ago.
It's a new record! Oh wait...it's not.
This could be one of the new Microsoft exclusives we hear about at the awards show. I loved Conviction, well worth the reviews and a solid entry in the series. I actually enjoyed it much better then the previous Splinter Cell games, I loved the first one or two on the original Xbox, then when they went multiplatform they suffered IMHO.
Hopefully They learned that Splinter Cell belongs on the 360. Cant wait to find out more about this.
This is good news. I prefer how Microsoft is tighter lipped about their upcoming games then the other companies. In the end, 2010 actually saw more XBox 360 exclusives then on PS3.
Mass Effect 2
Crackdown 2
Ninety Nine Nights 2
Metro 2033
Fable 3
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell Conviction
Halo Reach
I'm sure next year will be more great games, not just exclusives but the trend seems to be to give the 360 the better m...
Cry me a river, go play some Killzone 2 if your not happy with Black Ops, I'm sure the 200 people online on that game would welcome you with open arms.
Also, 3-D isn't strictly a "Sony" thing, as the 360 can do it as well, despite my personal objections to the format. Cant wait for the fad to die out like always. It's a typical COD game on the PS3, people should already know what to expect, I mean didn't Activision threaten to drop support on the PS3 altoget...
8.5 is pretty good, but I still think I'll stick with Forza. I feel like Microsoft was able to put two and almost three Forza games out in the time it took them to put out GT5. I cancelled my pre order a while ago on GT5, maybe I'll pick it up used or after a price drop. From what I'm seeing though, it's not worth the full price as of right now.
Just so beautifully done. i hope it wins a bunch of awards. Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake were both amazing games in their own rights. Red Dead was really good too.
To those comparing it to Move, there is a flaw in that ointment. Sony counts each Move Wand, Nunchuk, PS Eye as a "Move sale". So while they may claim to have sold 3 million "Moves" it's probably a lot less then that, the ones that are buying it are just buying the whole setups.
I know I'm Digging Kinect, it's a lot more accurate and fun when you get it home. Glad to see they are on pace to break their 5 million sold mark this year.
Your whole party can get into a game right away. On Black Ops, if I want to play with a whole team of six, your looking at waiting at least forty minutes, then the other team get's slapped and backs out halfway through, then were left with like only two people on the other team, once the game is done, then you have to back out yourself because nobody ever joins lobby's. Repeat. I love Black Ops, it's my favorite game of the COD series, yet I cant play because of a broken lobby sys...
Thats a sweet deal. Actually I might brave the early morning crowds to get some of these games and items. Walmart always has the best deals on Black Friday.
They are pretty cool, I mainly got it to be able to access XBOX Live and to be able to get Gamerscore while on the go. I was in the market for a new phone but hate Apple products, so this was a natural. Microsoft always supports the heck out of their products. I couldn't be happier. It's really cool tech. Anyone looking for a new phone should give it a try.
My list would be something like this.
1.COD4-First FPS I really got into as far as online goes.
2.Halo CE-First FPS I played regularly.
3.Halo 3-First Halo game I got to play online, never looked back.
4.Left 4 Dead-Unlike any other FPS out on the market.
5.Half Life 2
I would list games like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark as being up there as well. As I said though, lasting staying power is key IMHO. If a game comes out and two mo...
It's preference really. I mean the Blu Ray Argument is pointless seeing as how most people can buy a stand alone for $99 these days.
It comes down to games and online. I like being able to go into a Gamestop and dropping $60 and being able to pick up six or 8 used games. 360 is like that, they have a nice selection of games. The online is better and has more people, the voice chat is seriously better.
If you have friends with 360's go that route, if you have...
