Kinect looks like it's going to do well, I cant wait to get mine in about 30 mins!
I'm a "Core" gamer in my 20's but I look to what Kinect will be able to do, it's going to be fun for cracking some beers open and having a good time. XBL is gonna make it so much better then Wii or anything else out there. Honestly I'll always be a core gamer...

I hate Haze because the poor effort of that horrendous game caused there to be no Star Wars Battlefront 3. The company went out of business in the middle of development.

I mean who hear doesn't think Nintendo slapped a slightly better Processor in the tons of leftover Gamecubes and then added gimmicky motion controls? This is a step better because it's HD and already has an extensive library of games.
Make no mistake though, this is Microsoft's new console. It'll extend the 360 as well. I cant wait...chilling in line right now here in Florida! ...

I love how they are extending the console cycles now. with the economy the way it is, a new console cycle could cause a huge game market crash like back in the 1980's.
Kinect is looking sweet, I called that back when I saw it at E3. The next day I went and pre ordered it.

The 3 million was way low IMHO. It's basically a new console. New consoles sell like crazy at first, unless you have a $599 US dollar price tag.
I know at the midnight launch of Kinect at my local Gamestop the guy said all 250 of the units they were getting in were already gone, so it's a good thing I pre ordered mine so long ago.
Glad we wont see anymore "Kinect will fail" articles. Now it's time to just have some fun gaming.

I was surprised such a negative Sony article would even get passed on a site like this. The way most people here look at it Sony can never do anything wrong. Glad to see so many failures, PSPGO, PS2 HDD should be on that list too.
PGR4 was amazing! I think between Forza and PGR those two games have sim racing games on lockdown.
Would love to see a new PGR game. It's always been a great Microsoft exclusive racing sim!
So it's not a surprise something is outselling it. I'm sure Sony will try to spin sales anyway, Move is sketchy in the fact that it's hard to pinpoint how many have actually been sold. They count each Wand, nunchuk, PS Eye as a "Move unit sale". Where as When Kinect does launch it'll be clear each unit sold is an actual unit sold to a unique customer.

The Xbox 360s has been the number one console by far for months and months. Kinect/360s bundles are the hottest thing going.
It was funny to see so many people get there hopes up, only to see them dashed by this news. Wait till Kinect sells like 3+ million units on launch day.
It's much more organized and with the bolder colors and graphics it makes it easier to navigate. I love the Search feature on Netflix as well. Makes things much, much easier. ESPN Channel is amazing! So much content to choose from. The part I love best is something small, the new voice chat codecs! Voice chat on 360 was already heads and shoulders above anything else on the market, they improved it even more! It's better then Landline phone quality, better then Skype. It's so crys...

I have the 6th one, though I haven't played it yet, I do feel like it's like Ninety Nine Nights in the style though. Which is enjoyable enough. Not enough for me to buy this game new though.
They have put out a solid effort this generation and it'll only get better with Kinect and the fact that people are taking full advantage of what the 360 can do.
Steady stream of games this past year, starting with Mass Effect 2, Metro 2033, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Ninety Nine Nights 2, HALO REACH, Fable 3 and then to end the year we get Kinect and a ton of bundles. Throw in the fact we got a redesigned Xbox 360s that has no issues and works great and it's easy to see why MS is doing so well.

It's going to be expensive. I don't see it doing well with digital content only. this thing is going to have a rough time competing with the 3DS for certain. That at least has a gimmick and all the great Nintendo games and support. This will fall somewhere between the PSP(NO)GO and Those minidisk players.
