A failure from the standpoint that it didn't do as well as Sony's previous two consoles. In this aspect it has failed. Going from dominating the market to being last is not something Sony is proud of I'm sure.

There isn't enough supply from Microsoft. The backorders are too big. People would be waiting months and without a Xbox 360 at all. I know some people who traded it in, got a card and a rain check and now have to wait weeks to get there new console. Meanwhile they have nothing to play.
So it's not really Gamestops fault that Microsoft underestimated the demand for the 360s.
Even so I had to enter a Gamestop lottery to earn the chance to purchase one.
I did have to wait a couple days after I traded in my Xbox 360 regular before I could pick up my slim 360s though.

It looked great at E3 though. Sometimes I think the whole "Power" thing is taken too far these days. There isn't that much separating the 360 and the PS3. Both versions should look solid.

Is the worst I've seen. It's hard to get a whole team into a lobby. They recently took CTF out of MW2, which was the only game mode I liked. Duel wielding weapons and especially the Model 1800's were a mistake to even put in the game.

I like the PS3 slim, but it lacks a lot of what the PS3 fat's had. The 360s is a quality product, it improved in a lot of areas. I bought one over a week ago and I put movies on the HDD just fine. Also *GASP* they are downloaded movies that I paid $0 for! Also they are *GASP* HD or Blu Ray Rips!

I mean really? If you want to get technical Sony is relying on 3-D and Move. They have literally billions tied up in 3-D technology and if it doesn't do well they could be finished. It's a rough economy to release such expensive products.

I know, because I looked into pre-ordering that when I pre-ordered Kinect. You can say, well use the PS3 Duel shock, but honestly if your going to buy Move, buy the whole setup. I mean you already have the PS3, don't go the cheap route. It's $129.99 for the Move bundle and the Sub Controller. If you want the secondary controller it's even a bit more expensive. If you are needing more then 1 set of controllers it gets REALLY expensive.
