Just a gamer who likes to talk about games

Mainly because it's not like Kinect is the only option for controlling the game. We all knew Burnout was being used last year with Kinect and that was without it having any Kinect support previously built in. Racers seem an easy game to implement Kinect. Doesn't take away from people that want to use standard controllers. To each their own, but it's not like your forced to use Kinect for it.
It's just an option.

I don't care what else comes out this year. Mass Effect 2 is my all time favorite RPG!

In my opinion COD4 was the game that got it all right. Though Halo 3 is great as well. I think they should take into account longevity with FPS games. COD4 and Halo 3 certainly have huge numbers still playing them. Where as some of those other games were dead online a couple months after launch (killzone 2 specifically)

Anything you play online against an actual real live person via live or whatever I consider "Hard core" I consider Core games to be platform games or things along that line. Casual games are like Animal Crossing and games in that area.

Now I consider myself a "Gamer" first and foremost, I have been gaming since the 1980's, so I like a wide variety of games from "hardcore" to "Core" to "Casual" so Kinect appeals to me the s...

The PS2 won last generation despite having worse graphics by far then the original Xbox and even the Gamecube had better graphics, heck even the Dreamcast had nicer looking games when the PS2 first launched.

The 360 dev kits are still worked from 75% of the time, it's just easier to develop for, then straight port it to the PS3. Where as if they develop on the PS3 first, it means they have to add more work to make it work properly on the 360. If games like Rage and Crysi...

Just because it would offer Kinect Support doesn't mean it wouldn't also offer standard controller support. Not sure why people would assume one or the other. I mean it's not that difficult to put in two control schemes. I suspect now that it's known kinect will work with games like the new Harry Potter and Forza 4, people will stop talking about "Rail only" as far as Kinect goes.

I'd love to see Street Fighter or Killer Instinct on Kinect. Ya, ...

So if you can play a game like this without "Buttons" I guess that put's an end to all the "Kinect only offers rail games" theory. I guess the hate will have to be focused on something else now?

Those aren't numbers, they are guesses. To be honest I played the Medal Of Honor Beta and it's brutal. It's not good. Not saying MW2 is good by any means, I honestly cant stand that game. However to think MOH is going to sell 20+ million like MW2 is ridicules. Your more then likely going to see BFBC2 type of sales. Personally I'll never get into a "Realistic" shooter that lacks the ability to go prone in game.

I mean Mass Effect 3, Forza 4, Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, Fable 3....uhhhh sorry, what was I saying?

Copies of Halo Reach instead of 20 million.
In all honesty who cares which game had the most pre-orders? MW2 is a fine game for what it is and Halo games always sell well, even ODST which was basically a expansion pack was in the top 10 for sales last year. So of course Reach is going to do very well as well. I pre-ordered my copy a while ago. Some people might think it's played out, but this is really only it's 4th true game. Also Halo games give you the most bang for your ...

They are cutting back the size of the dash so the older 360's will be more able to run Kinect. So they are removing the more 3-D style and making a more streamlined dash.
Doesn't look bad. Heads and shoulders above the horrid PS3 Dash.

I'd love a Jade Empire sequel. That was an amazing game on the original Xbox. A true KOTOR 3 would be fantastic as well. I just tend to think a Jade Empire 2 would be a great Xbox 360 exclusive next year sometime.

They totally abandon there products. I know the game isn't hugely popular online, but there is still a following and it was a nice game to have a change of pace from other online shooters. This is pretty unacceptable, I mean we have companies updating games like Gears 2 and Forza 3 and that's with sequels coming early next year. So why cant we get updates for a game released this year?

So I can safely say they are all killer apps. To those that haven't ever played or heard of Deadly Premonition, it's a fun, but campy game and you should give it a try. Surprised Metro 2033 or Mass Effect isn't on this list though.

This just adds to the Gimmick theory IMHO. 3-D is totally different then Blu Ray or High Def. I can see why people would try to use it as an argument, but it's not a very good one. One (HD or Blu Ray) everyone can pretty much enjoy, 3-D which has been a fad throughout the last 50+ years comes and goes.

I don't think it's ever going to garner even the saturation HD has, which as it stands today is only 59% all these years later. So 3-D is in a uphill battle to be h...

I would have thought Jurassic Park Operation Genesis on the Original Xbox should be on there. I loved that game and It goes on Ebay for over $100 now days.

To get a new 360s like weeks ago. I Couldn't be happier to be honest. I already have a PS3 slim as well, which is nice. However I prefer to play the 360 online and I used the PS3 more for media and some quality offline titles, but in all honesty I haven't touched my PS3 since I got my 360s.
I guess I was a lucky one with the Launch 360 that still worked fine, however it didn't have HDMI ports or anything, so I'm loving 360 games in full 1080 now.

So it's a nice deal. With this prolonged Console cycle the 360 needed a lift and the 360s is really great. It's quiet, runs cool, lots of HDD space and Wireless N is a nice add on. Plus, we get all this stuff for the same price as the older ones. So it's an actual upgrade.
I love mine, and with the arcade version coming out soon, even more people will be able to jump in to gaming with the 360.

I would prefer it didn't come out to the 360 at all. I downloaded the beta and it's just plain out bad. No Prone, the graphics look sub HD to me and just bland. Just a mess. Though it's just my opinion, I tend to doubt this game does much. Even with MW2 being a mess it looks like Black Ops is going to be huge. Why don't people take note to the style and controls of the COD games? I mean if Battlefield Bad Company and Medal Of Honor put in COD style controls, prone, smaller map...

Earlier there were stories on Kinect games being between $35-$39 each. I would believe that more then the full price thing. I am guessing it's a tactic to hold a price point and then when people see the real prices they will more likely be on board with the actual price. The people that are saying $60 is too much for a Kinect game will feel much better about a $35 Kinect game.
