I said they would come down between $99 and $119 because to buy Move if you wanted everything it's $129.99. That is $99 for the bundle and $29.99 for the Sub Controller. So I figured Microsoft would beat that price.
This opens up the possibility of a Arcade 360s/Kinect bundle for $279? They have to knock some of the price off. Maybe throw in some games. It could do well, well even better then it seems to be doing now. Plus we know the Kinect games wont be $60, more like $34.99. So...

I had to enter a lottery at Gamestop to even get the chance to purchase mine.

To stay ahead. The places the consoles are in is where they will end up. I already own all three, including a PS3 slim and now as of a week ago a 360s. I think it's well built and wireless N is a nice tough. To those not in the know, Wireless N is the best wireless you can get. The built in wireless on the PS3 and the original wireless adapter for the 360 are not really suitable for online gaming.
You can get by sure, but it's not going to be a super connection and you can ha...

Crysis 2 was shown in FULL STEREOSCOPIC 3-D at E3. Everyone saw it. While I don't and wont support 3-D in any form, I don't hate it. I just fear we will see a lot of sub par games and movies splashed with a coat of 3-D and shoveled out to a public.

In all honesty who really thought Avatar was the greatest movie ever? I mean I saw it in HD and thought it was nice visually, but it lacked quality story telling. It was pretty much Dances With Wolves in Space and with Alie...

We hear how Microsoft buys timed exclusives and pays off everyone and their mother,Gets timed DLC and the like but we see stories like this, which clearly Sony has paid EA money to get timed exclusive DLC and the same situation but it is almost like people are oblivious?

Do people actually think EA out of the goodness of their heart decided to give Sony Exclusive editions or timed DLC? Of course not.

As an owner of all the consoles I'm set no matter what...

I mean clearly it says in the article they wont be doing either. Not sure why only Kinect get's mentioned in the title other then to let the fanboys troll up another topic.
I would pity someone using a motion control device in a room where I got my standard controller, Kontrol Freaks and Tritton's on. No contest. They don't really belong in the hardcore gaming world.

The interface, the chat servers, the regular servers. It seems kind of bare bones when compared to XBL IMHO.
With the new premium service they need to add actual online improvements, not discounts and the like. There are existing issues that need fixing first. Slow dashboard, hard to navigate, not very sleek or easy to use at all. So hopefully it's an update to improve a lot. I mean the 360 is about to get another sleek redesign on the dash looks like. Sony will need to counter if...

I was stating that Sony would have to fix thing sup with there online for me to pay for that version. Discounts on games don't really interest me because your basically paying for the discounts up front with the $50. I haven't really read anything that makes me believe it's worth the price. I mean they say PSN Premium, but what makes the actual online play or voice chat different? Is it just discounts? or did they fix up their servers?

This was the 360 version. Everything they've shown off was on the 360 so far. Even at E3 in 3-D. It's looking fantastic to be honest. Hopefully it's better then the first one.

Reviews are a touchy subject because honestly reviewers are capable of being biased just as much as anyone else in the world.
I've been disappointed with games that got almost perfect scores ie.Modern Warfare 2, God Of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4. While I've really enjoyed games that didn't get such favorable reviews like Alien Vs. Predator and The Force Unleashed.

I tend to trust Game Informer the most, some of these other reviewers I tend to think are on ...

Though I've only paid an average of $28-$34 per year for the last couple of years. Discounted XBL is all over the place. I did pay the $50 a year at first though and it was worth it, but that service was proven worth the price. XBL 1.0 was amazing. So we knew the New Xbox live for the 360 would be even better and they didn't disappoint.
As a PS3 owner, I don't play games online with it. I find it to be kind of poor quality in comparison. I do play offline games on my PS3 ...

Though it's hard to top XBL as it was, so I'm excited about this new look and upcoming update. Microsoft really goes all out with each update. Nobody can ever say they don't add great things and make big changes when they update. It's what XBL is all about!

On Xbox 360, so of course people are going to have to pay. Sony is losing money on their PSN service, even the bare bones stuff they lose a ton of money in just keeping a server up. It costs money to maintain these things.
You can find a 12 month XBL card between $27 and $35 now days. It's not very expensive. In contrast I pay more for a single haircut then I do for XBL for a year.
For those that haven't experienced XBL, there is a reason 25 million people would rather...

A Doom remake doesn't interest me as much as Rage. Too often people look back and it's why we get saturated with the same old same old. I mean COD4 was fresh, but they tried too hard with MW2. So I wouldn't really want a attempt to update versions of these games.
Things in our past are always remembered better then they actually are. Well that's my opinion anyway.

Doesn't really effect me one way or the other, but I am sure he will help push the item to a certain kind of crowd. It isn't the type of crowd here at N4G that is for certain.

It's good news. With Kinect coming out and some family friendly and casual games coming out, it's nice to give people some freebies.
Though in all honesty your first month of XBL is always free anyway.

So people are free to cause trouble, cheat, glitch and be annoying on numerous names. Also makes it nearly impossible to gauge how many actual users are on PSN. I know personally I have 10 PSNs and I use half of them to TK or cause trouble. Not really any chance of getting banned though.

I liked the first game, hoping the second one finds the niche as they say. First game had a few flaws but overall was a good experience and had some interesting online modes.

Though I don't think any of them are unfairly hated on to be honest.
I still play MW2 even though they removed my favorite game type (Capture the flag) and there have been glitches and issues from the start.

I've briefly played all the titles on the list and wasn't really a fan of any of them for various reasons. None really jump out at me as great games, most are fair and some are poor. To each their own though.

Sure Sony is pushing the tech, but the 360 can run 3-D as well. I mean Sony isn't just pushing 3-D on it's console, it's there movies too. I seriously doubt a Nintendo or Microsoft fan are going to be mad because Sony is pushing a option to something.
Sony has billions invested in it, so of course they are going to push it. I am not sure how much of a market there is going to be for 3-D right now, I personally think this push is really trying to set them up for their next ...
