To the old Sega "Add On". If you know your gaming history, you'll realize Sega dropped support almost immediately on most of their products. The Sega CD was actually a success sales wise. Especially for back then. These new motion controls are actually an attempt to in a way launch new consoles.

I have needed something like this, I know a lot of people who have to share an account and they have their K/D/R messed up on games or something. So this is like getting a couple of free XBL accounts. I would only wonder if they can all play at the same time on different machines? Which I would guess is the case, I am sure it's just like any other gamertags out there.

I think they actually upgraded with this new one and keeping the price was a good idea. The other $199 version will come out soon and that will be a good deal as well. Hopefully the new arcade version keeps the wifi and just goes for a smaller HDD.

I think people play what they want to be honest. It doesn't make it wrong, they are just doing what makes themselves happy. Personally I love shooters, when I get tired of them I play something else. I'll go play an RPG or platform or Sports game. Then after I get tired of that I'll go back into the competitive Shooter game again feeling refreshed and ready to play some more.

They will still offer the 360s Arcade/Kinect bundles for $299, which is cheaper then the PS3/Move bundle yet more expensive then the Wii. CTF was the main game my clan and I played and they removed it for this stuff. CTF wasn't really a camping game mode and now I really have no reason to play the game. I am greatly disappointed in this new update. I was just starting to say they were fixing the issues and now this.

I agree at first I didn't know what to make of it, but it has grown on me. Nintendo is known for taking chances and having those chances be successful. I mean who thought Paper Mario was a good idea at first? That turned out wonderfully. I am hoping the same thing for this.
So no, I am a gaming veteran. I've never seen such fanaticism in a console generation though. I mean back in the day Nintendo was number 1, much like today. However they weren't the "Cool" choice, which is also a lot like today. Only now instead of the "Cool" choice being Sega, it's Microsoft or Sony. So I guess things change, yet somehow remain the same.
They did the right thing with the older models, offering 3 year warranties. I just got a new Model S 360 4 day's ago and it's solid. It runs about as hot as the PS3 slim and doesn't make a noise and is in general well built. It has a cutoff if it overheats, which all electronics should have.
People are expecting the same issues with the new models as the older ones, but that was a rushed out mistake. The first Xbox was a beast and never had any issues. I trust this new ver...

This is just an added precaution. I like the idea. Most electronics have a cut off point, hair dryers included. Like I've said before the new XBox 360s runs pretty much the same as the PS3 slim. Maybe a little cooler. Keep your electronics vented and everything should be fine. Nice to know there wont be a ton of consoles breaking though if they like play in a non ventilated area or whatever.
Again, I feel people are looking for a reason to discount it or a reason that it will fail...
