There is no Kinect price.
Move is $130 if you get the whole thing, including the sub controller. If you already have a Wii, then your set with that.
Not sure what the point is for this article.

I went right down to Gamestop and entered their lottery to win a the chance to buy a slim 360s and I was lucky, I actually did get a ticket to purchase one. So I traded in my launch 360 that still worked fine technically, got $160 off the price of the new 360s, so I really only spent $140 out of pocket.
I must admit the 360s is sexy, sleek and quiet. It's a nice upgrade and it just feels and runs smoother and better you know? Like you know it's well built.

Any...

That plague me when I have watched something in 3-D. I have yet to be able to sit through more then forty five minutes of a movie that is in 3-D.
I can see a lot of people getting motion sickness though, 20% of the population physically cant view 3-D. So I think it's always going to be the minority to be honest.
I know Sony is pushing it big time right now, but I'm glad they seem to be the only ones. One of the issues I have with 3-D is people are going to start to rol...

As the article suggests. However, they are really the only ones. Most the other companies are waiting to see what happens. I know it's just an "Option" but I think it's going to be an option most people wont take or make. Even though regular Television can be bad for your health, there is actually 20+% of the population that physically cannot view 3-D. I know my mother has only one eye from an accident as a child and myself personally I have gotten major headaches when I'...

However the companies start on new consoles as soon as they release the ones they just released. Development and the like takes years and years. I still personally don't think they will release anything new next year, the economy is a bit to unstable. maybe two years out though. I believe we would have seen something at E3 next year if the 360s failed or Kinect doesn't do well, but with both those things being hot and looking like they are going to do very, very well. I doubt Microsof...

I use it all the time on the Xbox 360, good to share it will more people though. Probably the Wii will be the next to follow as well.
I still use the custom soundtracks on the 360 for most games though, load up my favorite tunes and create my own cinematic music for the games I play when on 360.

If you consider Modern Warfare 2 made more money then that, also it was cheaper. So this is a very small amount of people. There were no actual numbers, but I read less then 1% actually own a 3-D capable television.
I would expect the techies to purchase it, the ones that "Must have" the new thing. However in this economy and 3-D's history as a fad, I suspect it'll be a while before they see any actual market saturation.
To put this number in perspective a bi...

On games like Halo, Gears and Call Of Duty. HDDVR's are kind of expensive and bulky, but if it was something smaller and easier to work with then it would be perfect!
Microsoft is doing a lot of cool things lately. Gotta say I'm impressed.

Xbox 360s and the pre-orders of Kinect ease the pain..lol

If there weren't a debate. Clearly it's on the minds of the people that aren't Microsoft fans. I mean who really cares at this point? E3 is over, it was fair overall. Let's move on. Lots to look forward to this year. It's like beating a dead horse, it isn't going to get any deader people.

I mean how can you win or lose at E3 unless you count making money? In which case Microsoft clearly didn't lose. This whole article is flawed and reeks with envy....

I already pre-ordered Kinect right after E-3, but it's good to try it out a bit before I actually get to own one for myself.
Five months is a long wait, thankfully I'll have Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, Fable 3 to tide me over. Maybe even GT5. Mario Galaxy 2 is keeping me pretty busy right now though. Great year to just be a gamer.

Why are we still talking about E3? I mean if you are going by what's hot right now then it's true, the Microsoft products introduced at their E3 presser are the hottest things going. The XBox 360s might as well be called the Microsoft Hotcakes and Kinect is consistently in the top 5 at Amazon and Gamestop in Pre-orders.
We have nothing but article after article on Microsoft saying how they didn't win E3, yet we see nothing like that with Nintendo or Sony. I mean people ar...

It is a dream come true! I'm sure you'll see lots of people using those force FX lightsabres with this game..lol
I loved the look of it and think it will be well done, Kinect is the better fit IMHO simply because the force powers are going to be there and feel more like your an actual Jedi or what have you. I mean if you can use a Force Effects Lightsabre and hand movements as the force, then that is win win really.
So I'm looking forward to this title!

With the way Xbox 360s consoles are selling and the way Kinect is everywhere in the media and getting pre-ordered I doubt Microsoft is complaining much..lol
I think they got their point across and I'm sure at next E3 we will see a lot more "Core games" and people can just get over it. I mean Microsoft was pushing there new hardware and games, they showed a lot and went after "Gamers" and that seems to have worked. The Hardcore people get there redesigned 360s a...

By doing this. They aren't paying $299 per Xbox 360s. Not even close. Plus people that are upgrading are probably buying games, transfer cables etc.. ALso, Gamestop isn't actually handing over any real cash, it's just credit. So really they are making out in the deal.
I traded in my launch date Xbox 360 a week ago and upgraded to the 360s and I got $160 I think for it in credit towards the new 360s. So in reality I only paid around $140 out of pocket on the new, upgraded c...

3-D I can say safely isn't for me. I tried to test the whole 3-D thing with Toy Story 3 and about 35 minutes in I got the worst Migraine and had to leave. I do see Movie studio's and game developers using 3-D as a way to avoid making quality products.
People are so influenced with Shiny graphics and colors and effects that they often don't realize that they really just saw a mediocre movie or just played a average to poor video game.
3-D probably wont be adapted b...

It's for "gamers" in general. Move tried to cater a bit much to the "Hardcore" crowd, and it might have backfired. I don't think true hardcore fans are going to want to risk using a motion controller in an online shooter against someone using a standard controller. It's suicide.
Then when Sony says things like "Hardcore" it scares off the Casual gamers who are just looking for a fun time and don't want to play against try hard's and t...

I said people are taking too much time out to worry about a single faulty new 360s and they could actually better focus their time elsewhere.
I was using past faulty hardware as an example. All hardware has a failure rate, look it up.
I think if someone did do a survey it might clear the air a little more.
My big question is....Did anyone think the 360s would have 0 issues and 0 failures? that is just not obtainable. It's unrealistic and unfair to put that on Micro...

I have heard and seen plenty of people poking fun at the "thought" $60 price tags on Kinect games. $34.99 to $39.99 is very reasonable.
This is great news for me as I pre-ordered Kinect pretty much right after the Microsoft presser at E3.
Kind of lends to the theory that Kinect might actually be $99 to $119 like I originally thought.
This is great news for gamers and people who might have already pre-ordered some Kinect games at the $60 price point.

Taking a wait and see with the 3-D thing. It's a good financial idea to be honest. I mean if 3-D doesn't take off then Sony stands to lose hundreds of millions and maybe even billions. While Microsoft and Nintendo lose nothing.
If I were Nintendo and Microsoft I'd wait till there was at least a 50% saturation rate on 3-D televisions before I went ahead with any 3-D plans of my own. Seeing as how HDTV has been around since the 1980's and viable since the 1990's and ...
