Because it's multiplatform. Reach is probably going to be the biggest exclusive title this year as well. SO I find this article dubious at best.
I do think KMart has had some nice deals lately though. Just a horrid game.
Can't really say something fails when it sells 2+ million on launch date and they are sold out everywhere. Heck, right now they aren't even allowing pre orders here anymore due to demand and not enough supply.
Everyone else is just trying to play catchup, even IW. Who failed and actually took a step back with MW2. They tried too hard, they wanted to revolutionize and take the next step, but took a step back instead. To me, no FPS aside from Halo is going to do much. If you cant go prone in a "REALISTIC" style shooter, then it's not worth my time. Dice did the online for Medal Of Honor, so it's going to copy mostly from the terribad BFBC games. No thanks.
It lacks anything at launch that I'd be interested in. Which is why I went with the Pre Order on Kinect. Less then 500k in a month is okay, I think MS is chomping at the bit to see what Kinect will do, I think it's estimated at 2 million on release day? I know the pre orders are through the roof and it's sold out most everywhere, Gamestop not even taking pre orders now.

They didn't want to compete with Call Of Duty Black Ops and Kinect. I know not many here are Kinect fans, but it seemingly is doing well and Gamestop is even doing a midnight launch. So I think it's too much competition for what was supposed to be Sony's "Big" title for the holidays.
The Pre orders weren't that impressive for it to be honest. I mean Kinect Adventures was doing better. So this isn't a surprise for me.
I trust myself quite a bit as well. I played the demo on Xbox 360 and PS3 and it was horrid. I think 7 is a bit generous, 7 is average to mediocre. Not a purchase that is for certain. I might be interested in the campaign, but the online is just a BFBC ripoff, and since I hated BFBC1 & BFBC2, I knew this would be more of the same. No prone and giant maps with vehicles just doesn't work for small level combat.
I am however very excited to get Kinect. I pre ordered back the day after I saw it on E3. I am excited about a few launch titles, but I'm more excited about the future possibilities. November 4th I get my new 360s and Kinect Bundle! Woot Woot!

I used to use my Xbox 360 strictly for gaming, mostly online gaming due to the outstanding quality of XBox live. Now though, I've found myself using it for everything, Twitter, Facebook, ESPN via the new dash update that I'm in, which is amazing to say the least. Netflix streams HD movies and television at 1080p so I'm covered there. I also use Zune, which has a huge selection. Since I got the 250 gig Xbox 360s I've not bought a single Blu Ray of any kind.

Even though I own one, I also own a 360. Left 4 Dead is just better suited for the Xbox 360. I think Valve would just be wasting money to produce it. With all the PS3 exclusives pushed for next year, I think it would be just a game that get's lost in the shuffle.
This is proof that Epic is going all out for this chapter of Gears Of War! Dedicated servers, Online beta, more time to fix issues. It's going to be an amazing game. I cant wait!
I didn't particularly care for any of the games on this list, except Lost Planet 2 I was quite fond of. I really disliked Metal Gear Solid 4, The story made no sense, the cut scenes were too numerous, I felt like I was watching a poor attempt of a Japanese movie trying to appeal to American audiences.
However, Metal Gear 1, 2 and especially 3 still rank as some of my all time favorite games!
I was a bit upset with hearing Gears 3 was delayed, but I'd rather get the best available experience I can get on it. Host advantage on Gears 2 can be bad, but I don't mind it terribly. This just makes the game that much more exciting for me.
I also loved the Sonic Adventure games on the Sega Dreamcast. I think some of the lesser Sonic games should be pulled. I have high hopes for this new Sonic, I just wish it would come out in a disk format instead of a digital download.
Let's hope Sonic is back on track.
I pre ordered Kinect the day after I saw it at this years E3. I saw the possibilities, rather then trying to find faults. People who bought the PS3 at release saw the possibilities rather then saw the faults.
I cant wait to be able to play it for myself, the voice controlled media is another reason I'm excited. To each their own, but don't hate on something because you "wish" it not to do well.

Why do we pay for satellite television when we already own the Television itself? Sure we own the Xbox 360, but that's only part of it. You get what you pay for with XBL you get a lot. I just picked up another 4 GB XBox 360s console to give as a gift this Holiday season. I wanted to get another Kinect to give as a gift, but there not taking pre orders anymore around here. Too much demand.
