Funny part is, Gears 3 will outsell all of those PS3 exclusives combined. Sony showed their whole hand already as far as games for next year. Microsoft keeps you guessing. We do know it's more then what you've listed. We know Forza 4, Codname, Gears 3, strong ideas of a new Perfect Dark, Halo Wars etc... So I'll take those games to own anyday over the Gamefly type of rentals that PS3 titles almost always are for me anyway.
We could still see Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars 1 was amazing and sold very well.
I am guessing Microsoft is going to surprise quite a few people. Just like this past year. personally I'm hoping for Perfect Dark, Halo Wars, Gears 3, Forza 4 and a few other high quality titles. I own a PS3 as well, but to be honest most of the games like God OF War 3, infamous are rentals only via Gamefly. They just cant compete with the XBL enabled games.
Even though Epic makes the game, much like Bungie made Halo, the game cant come out on another platform.
It was Epic Games fault and there own reasoning. The game simply wasn't ready. With some of the issues in Gears 2, although it was a great game. I would rather have a complete game that is as epic as Gears 1 was.
Also, not quite sure where the one game a year smack talk comes from. 2010 has had a ton of Exclusives for the Xbox 360. Mass Effect 2, Crackdown 2, Fable 3, Metro 2033, Ninety Nine Nights 2, Halo Reach, Splinter Cell Conviction etc... Some really nice exclusive arcade ...
To me the best part was the new codecs and improved sound quality of the voice chat! I mean the voice chat was already far beyond that of the competitors but they still strived to make it better. The new graphics and icons are larger and the colors look better. ESPN is amazing! I cant wait to get Kinect so I can try out some of those features as well.

No matter the price. It's Nintendo made, so we know they will support it with lots of great first party games and now we know they will have amazing third party support as well. I paid $199 for a DS back in the day, so $50 more isn't a big deal. It might be for some and I can totally understand that. It's not going to cost Nintendo much in the way of sales. people will sell there old DS's and probably a couple of games to get a cheaper price. So it'll all work out in the e...

One of the best I've ever seen actually. Glad to see the pre orders and hype are building for this title. So far it's been a super busy, amazing year for us 360 fans. Keep it coming Microsoft!
I played the Beta on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, it does a weird thing when you get shot, it locks up and your player falls over, easily some of the worst gun and character models I've ever seen.
The maps are too big, there is no prone, the grenades are horrid. There are noob tubes everywhere, the Taliban side get's like 5 noobtubes!
I was looking forward to this game, but now I'll tough it out on MW2 till Halo Reach and Black Ops.
I expect the ones that love the franchise, like me will buy this. It's a good value. I also think people who were looking to get a new 360s and Reach anyway will buy this bundle, because it's $40 more then those two things separate but you get an extra controller and a wireless Headset, not to mention the custom paintjob. It's looking like a must buy for me anyway.
I already just got a 360s the day they were available, but I'm thinking I'll Re-Gift that and keep this Halo Reach Bundle for myself. Looks amazing. I mean when you consider the wireless Headset is $50 Alone, Reach is $60 and a second Controller is $50, you really start to see what a value this bundle is!

I wish they would have announced this at E3. I got the new 360 slim the day they became available. This however, is looking like a must buy. I love custom consoles, I might pack my 360 slim up and give it as a gift to someone and then get the Reach Bundle for me!

The Kinect/360s Arcade bundle are the hottest thing going.
It'd be foolish to make a statement like that. People are going to want to try it out and at $299 for an HD console with the full library of the 360 AND Kinect with a game is a great deal. I think some of the people here need to stop wishing that it fails, I mean it's already selling. Not just in the states either, but eveerywhere.

That's sarcasm if anyone couldn't tell. A true little known fact is, Sony was the largest developer of Beta Max, so it's not like they haven't failed at all. Remember the PS2 HDD?
Anyway, I love how Sony tries to take credit for everything and denies everything at the same time. I mean in 2006, they weren't into gimmicks, and lollipops were for kids right?

Too bad I bought my slim the day they came out and have never been happier with a console. I already have Final Fantasy as well, but who can argue with the value there? The newer 360's like that aren't prone to Red Ring and still have 3 year warranties. So a nice pickup while supplies last.

Seriously, it doesn't effect us. Kinect and Move are attempts at going after more casual gamers, there are actually more casual gamers in the world then core gamers. By a large margin in fact.
Companies are still going to make massive amounts of core games as well though. This isn't really a surprise, it's new tech, almost a soft console launch. I'd be surprised if it didn't do well. I mean I read somewhere that 25% of existing 360 owners wanted to purchase Kinect...
For all the hype, it not only sold poorly, but it's just not a very good game. I think they bit off more then they could chew and went scampering back to Socom where they belonged all along. So instead of one crummy game, we get two. Socom Confrontation is just horrid as well and had to be made by Slant Six due to the fact that Zipper was working on crummy MAG in the first place! Buy Headsets people on PS3!!!!!! USE THEM!!!!!!! Work as a team!!!!
I cant help but thinking this is just some thrown in multiplayer to appease the people who buy games with not only offline, but online aspects as well. Personally I only BUY games with multiplayer aspects, Gamefly for the ones with only a campaign like God OF War 3 and Infamous etc....
