thats EXACTLY what makes them fanboys. they consider the PS3 as competition (go figure); thus whenever it has something worthwhile that the 360 doesn't, they jump on the defensive. its like i've always said; PS3 is only competition to Microsoft and Nintendo: 360 is only competition to Sony and Nintendo: Wii is only competition to Sony and Microsoft. however, PS3, 360 and Wii should be products we are ALL interested in...as gamers. if one offers something the others don't have, then that c...

i don't feel like arguing, so no comment in that regard for me. my excitement for the PS3 will not be based on what others say; it never has been nor will it ever be. it is a next-gen game console that looks to offer the best in game visuals and gameplay. that someone else may feel the same or differently than me is of little consequence.

no. you said they justified lies with more lies. if they lied the first time, then i'm asking what are they lying about this time?

well it really doesn't matter that much to me. whatever system Ninja Gaiden 2 comes to i'll be owning it, as i have a 360 and plan on getting a PS3. however (and despite whether i take flack from 360 fanboys or not) if the PS3 can offer a better graphical experience than the 360 then yes, i think it's pretty dogheaded of Itagaki to stick solely to the 360. MGS was a series birth and bred on Sony consoles (at least these past couple of generations), despite their being a graphicall superior...

this is definately a showcase piece for PS3's graphical prowess. makes me hopeful that Killzone 2 will actually look as good as the E305 video. since i won't be getting my PS3 until around Feb. or March of 07, this'll definately be one of the titles i pick-up with the system.

the only think Nintendo can be credited for creating is the Gameboy and the D-Pad. sure, they're innovative, but innovation doesn't mean creativity. Nintendo was the first to bring rumble-feedback to home-consoles (it had been in arcade stations decades earlier), which was innovative, not creative. Nintendo introduced portable-gaming...innovative, not creative, as gaming was still the same both before and after the Gameboy. motion-sensing controllers have been around for more than a decad...

who cares what the RSX's specs are, as the proof is in the pudding. to date, GOW is the best looking 360 game, and UT2007 is more than its graphical equal on the PS3. besides, if the 360's custom ATI graphic chip is so much more powerful than the PS3's RSX, why does Fight Night Round 3 look better on the PS3, 7 months extra development time notwithstanding?

SWEET!!! i just reserved my collector's edition copy yesterday. $75, but i'm more than sure it'll be worth it. can't wait till Nov. 7!

this game looks quite a bit better than when Sony originally showed it. not the epitome of what i'd consider next-gen graphics, but a fun, solid looking launch title nevertheless. if i were getting my PS3 on Nov. 17, i'd actually consider picking this game up along with RFOM. but since i'm waiting till Feb. or March to get my PS3, Untold Legends may get swallowed in the excitement of Lair, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm etc.

while i can certainly understand HyperBear's frustration, i think a petition will make matters worse, not better. just look at some of the responses this has gotten. i feel that Dusty and Co. are doing the best they can to keep this site, enjoyable at the most (and civil at the least). we should just leave it to them. Dante1 has two bubbles left (maybe one after this). i'm pretty sure with more numbnutz-articles like the one's he's been posting he'll soon exhaust his own privilage to pos...

it may have been rather distasteful the way the interviewer conducted his interview. however, in the past Team Ninja has always said how they didn't develop for the PS2 because it was inferior. Itagaki can't really use that excuse now (since both the PS3 and the 360 are near equals), and the interviewer sensed that; thus he seemed to goad Itagaki into admiting the true reason he doesn't like the PS3, which Itagaki wouldn't fall for.

if it won't be free, then tell me what they're gonna be charging for? in any event i myself am not a Sony fan; i'm a Playstation fan, and that's quite a difference. Microsoft and Sony fan(boys) dilute themselves into some supposed, demented loyalty under the assumption that either company truly cares about them. i know neither Sony or Microsoft cares about me (or rather, they care only about my money); and i'm fine with that, just as long as either company delivers a product that's worth w...

what did they lie about this time?

in his own subtle way i think the interviewer was trying to get Itagaki to say that he DEFINATELY wouldn't develop for the PS3. i found it kinda odd (and arrogant, not unlike Sony) of Itagaki to constantly refer to this new developer as a rookie simply because he desires to expand Ninja Gaiden to a wider fanbase.

yeah, its a "knockoff" that just so happens to be free. i'd take $50 a year over originality.

it's pretty stupid that they would have to clarify something so obvious in the first place. and guess what, i bet this STILL won't be enough to placate the myriad of anti-Sony fanboys.

"'Requires Users to Buy': This is misleading because none of the following items are actually required to, y'know, use the system. However, the items are required for 360 owners who want certain functionality that the PS3 has right out of the box. "Extras" or "Add-ons" might have been a better heading."

to equate to what the core PS3 offers "requires user to buy" such and such. how is this hard to get?

"HDD (20GB): Yes, this ...

thanx for the props bro. i try to keep it as real as possible. most people don't like that. they're called fanboys.
