yeah. i got it Wednesday and i defeated Raam on the train Saturday morning, and i only played it a couple of hours a day, minus Thursday (busy playing FFXII). it was 8 hours tops, hardly worth $75. well, i guess i could go and watch the extra content on the second disc, and add that to the overall length of the game. maybe then it'll surpass ten hours of content. seriously, i thought GOW was fun, but it has to be the most overrated game ever, even over MGS2.
i'm not blaming bladestar; it's Joystiq i say is at fault. and unless they rectify this by updating their own site, then it will mislead people, which i think was their intent all along.

why is this even worth commenting about? it's not like 1080p is bad. that the PS3 offers it natively is just an added bonus.
my thoughts...almost exactly. Resistance was the only launch game that i wanted, which is why i'm waiting till Feb. to get a PS3, so that i can have Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Lair and NGS to go along with Resistance.

Microsoft is "popular" because of Sony, and it's all due to PR blunders and Blu-ray (which effected the PS3's price). you argue great games and services in Microsoft's favor: thats arbitrary. 100 million people feel that Sony's more popular for the exact same reasons with the PS2--great games. we can sit here and argue until we're a plethora of different colors in the face, but the fact remains that the PS3's popularity is a reflection of it's $600 price. games have little to do...
as a gamer who cares about the politics behind everything; Sony are arrogant and overbearing, and Microsoft are sneaky and conniving. Nintendo's the only company that geniunely seems to care about making games for the fun of it. as a gamer who cares only about the games; Playstation offers the best and most, followed closely by XBox/360. the Wii? meh. save for Zelda and maybe Metroid, it doesn't have much that i want...oh wait, i forgot about all those classic games. still, not worth $2...
are there any good Korean games/developers? the only one's i know of are Magna Carta (which wasn't all that good really), and Webzens, the people behind the now abandoned Endless Saga. are there any others?

2008? i'm sure it'll be worth the wait. besides, i don't think too many people were expecting a 2007 release anyway. in the meantime FFXII and Rogue Galaxy should satisfy my rpg cravings. these two, coupled with whatever additional non-rpg offerings both the PS3 and the 360 will have should sate the wait just great.
how do fanboys of EITHER camp find the time to come to this site to bicker, especially at this point in time? Sony fanboy's should have their hours consumed by FFXII, and Microsoft fanboy's should soon be consumed by GOW. but i guess that's why they're called fanboys. wup, work calls. and after work guess what: i'll be at home dividing my time between FFXII and GOW. peace.

eh, i'm not too sure about this one. i guess all the cards are in Microsoft's favor (considering the limited supply of PS3); but given a choice between the newest system and a fairly-new system with a proven game, most people will opt for the newer system, especially when that newer system bears the Playstation logo, and is sure to continue with all the franchises that made the Playstation legacy what it is.
however, PS3 notwithstanding, Microsoft's biggest advantage at this...
