i know people on here will bitch and moan about this but the reality is this game is already designed for online multiplayer in the first place. Thats the main draw of the game, so i find the sentiment behind this article to be disingenuous and petty.
Also, there are millions and millions of gamers in the world with MS recently reporting 120+ million active users on Xbox online services; only a fractional percentage of those people will actually care about online only. the...
i'm pretty sure we all saw this one coming. lets be honest, that game was a POS.
Botched return? It’s literally just an emulation of the original game… literally running the same code.
i think i'm definitely suffering from superhero fatigue. between video games, movies and tv shows milking superheroes, i personally am ready for other themes to explore. i'd also like to see more creativity from big AAA games and studios trying new things rather than just largely relying on what they think is safe. at some point it just all starts to run together with these games.
I must say I am pleased with the re-make all around. DS was one of my all time favorite games on 360 and the re-make has gone above and beyond. It feels almost like a brand new game in the best possible way. The visuals are gorgeous, the sound is fantastic, performance is smooth and responsive (I’m playing on series x) and the subtle tweaks from the original make the game better than it was originally. A master class in re-makes. Let it be known too that this is NOT a re-master. Everything ha...
how is it unfair? if a majority of people find it cringy, then its perceived as cringy to most people and that creates the popular opinion. thats just how that works. why is it that every playstation exclusive that reviews low is suddenly treated unfairly? if this was on xbox, people would just laugh at the reviews, talk a bunch of sh** and move on. sometimes games just don't hit with people - playstation exclusives included, and thats ok. it makes studios take feedback and improve in the...
uhhh 2023 is actually looking pretty darn good from a release perspective imo. even the latest developer_direct was more than expected IMO. gamepass is getting some great day one releases - releases that aren't even MS studio games.. like Atomic Heart, Persona 3,4,5, High Fi Rush, Monster Hunter: Rise etc. Redfall is out in a couple of months, Forza Motorsport looks incredible and yes - visually more impresive than Gran Turismo 7 (and i own and love GT7).
I actually fe...
started playing it this morning before work. very pleased so far. not only does it look gorgeous, but it feels dialed in and smooth. the same great gameplay feels even better.
it was actually more than i expected tbh.
interesting. i wonder what they have in the pipe right now. If they haven't even started a TLOU 3 then that means it would be years away if they decided to do it.
wish the videos were a little more sync'd. its kinda hard to compare as each video seems completely different or moving completely differently
its pretty terrible. some of the clips people are posting on twitter are like hard to watch. totally cringe.
to be clear this is only on PC as Direct Storage is a MS technology. The PS5 has its own data i/o situation.
after blindly pre-ordering Saints Row and Callisto Protocol before the reviews came out, i was much more cautious with this one. Now that the reviews are out and pretty much all stellar, its time to pull the trigger.
The cringe is real. Now on to dead space. A game that doesn’t need people trying to convince you is good And just is.
It’s already on Gamepass so you could just like go try it out risk free. If you have gamepass. It’s currently number five on steam too.
looks freaking awesome.
does nintendo even do iterations now? seems like their last few consoles are all completely different and each one is looking for some kind of trick or gimmick. like will their next "console" be and actual console and then maybe they release another portable like they have done in the past or will they stick with this portable format from here on out? i dunno the answer - could go either way i guess. History says they'll try something new and different again, but the Switch has ...
but Elden Ring is waaaay darker/creepy/mysterious, more tasteful, more mature, less cringy and has much cooler worlds, character design and depth. this is like saying Mario Kart is perfect for those craving an easier Gran Turismo.
right.... everyone says that just to bitch not even realizing how much of their current generation gaming is already using the sh*t out of their internet connections - ps5 and xbox users both (GT7 is also awlays online for example).
What i've learned is that people talk tough, and a fraction of those people actually follow though, and all of those people with the loudest voices are a tiny fraction of the millions upon millions of gamers who could honestly care less abou...
