the warning signs were there from the very first released trailer to the very last released gameplay trailer. never once did this game look appealing to me.
the protagonist is straight up obnoxious and unlikeable imo. the writing is also terrible. the protagonist drops so many F bombs that it feels gratuitous and desperate to be "cool" or "adult". I'm not offended by swearing btw, i could care less - it just feels cringy like they're trying to im...
cool game but this is exactly why i don't want to spend $600 on a psvr 2 headset. the upgrades are nice and all but its an experience i've already had. i feel like despite the announcement of some larger titles, games like this will end up being a majority of what ends up on the headset - or reduced versions of bigger games (even gran turismo 7 will have reductions for psvr2).
i dunno. i guess i'm just disillusioned with vr in general. i've had couple high ...
planning on picking one up myself. I've used the elite 2 on my series x and have been waiting for sony to drop an equivalent for the ps5 and now they have. i really love the haptics and and adaptive triggers on the ps5 so i'm pretty stoked to now how customizable curves and rear buttons.
definitely didn't see that one coming.
considering a huge majority of of reviews put this game in the 5-7 range, i don't think i will ever trust a review from this site considering it gave it a near perfect score. its not that i have anything against the game personally, but this review is in stark contrast to the majority of reviews - and those reviews are all pretty similar and aligned so this one stands out as the odd one.
only if it was promised to us beforehand... and it wasn't. i mean buying a new game is a decision you make as a consumer and until the game comes out, you don't really know what to expect. if you want to be responsible and wait for the reviews to come out then you can certainly do that. it could save you from buying a game that rated poorly. therefore its on you to make the purchasing decisions you make and i don't think a studio should owe you anything if the game didn't sell...
Well…. Porn is the largest industry in the world, so… probably.
You can certainly tell what sites are PlayStation apologists. This game is getting overwhelmingly mediocre reviews then suddenly a 90/100. Smh.
No surprise here
its not a flaw and i certainly enjoy a majority of ps exclusives, but it is starting to feel a little formulaic in the ps exclusive arena. you even start to notice similar gameplay mechanics from game to game.
and i have insider knowledge from ms employees who are friends of mine on who is planned to take it over... and it makes a lot of other things make sense. regardless, 343 sh*t the bed with Halo.
The demo was sh*t. If it wasn’t a ps5 exclusive I’m confident this would be an even more popular opinion, but anything ps5 oriented seems to get a lot of forgiveness and tolerance. Even some major media outlets have said as much.
I said the same thing.
So you’re willing to overlook the killing of innocent civilians, the raping of women, war crimes all due to an unprovoked war, so you can play video games guilt free. Wow. Capitalism has truly warped the decency of mankind.
You’re kinda missing the point. They are saying Mundfish is supported by a government waging an unprovoked war and killing innocent people, including civilians, raping women and lying to their people. Would you support a game funded by ISIS? The Taliban? Not much difference here. Some things are bigger than your entertainment.
another day 1 release for gamepass.
i can't believe people are still buying hardware this underpowered. it was already underpowered to true consoles the day it was released and now we have a whole new generation of even more powerful consoles and the switch is still just..... old. even most tablets can outperform it now from a graphical standpoint. sure nintendo's magic is more its first party games, but even those could be so much more elevated, immersive and capable if they'd just release some atual competitive ha...
this is cool and all but i'm kinda sick of atari cashing in on its name and same list of games they've been pushing for 50 years. its literally not even the same company it used to be. its been bought and sold repeatedly, gutted, re-packaged. its just a brand name at this point. at some point the nostalgia wears off and you really need to make something new if you want to compete. i mean they've been re-packaging all these games for decades. like when was the last time they actual...
man i hope this game doesn't suck. i've been really interested in it. - at least its coming to gamepass day 1 so the risk factor is low to try it out.
but Elden Ring is waaaay darker/creepy/mysterious, more tasteful, more mature, less cringy and has much cooler worlds, character design and depth. this is like saying Mario Kart is perfect for those craving an easier Gran Turismo.
