cool perspective. as an owner of psvr2 i'll say this: The hardware is great. its not the best on the market but it certainly hangs with the big boys out there regardless. It's probably the best bang for the buck and certainly punches well above its price point. The gaze tracking and finger sensing are all super cool and the sense controllers are a serious upgrade from the move controllers of OG psvr. like literally everything is significantly upgraded... even quality of llife things l...

Gonna be interesting b/c series x has a higher fixed clock rate that runs higher than the top speed of the ps5s variable clock. It also has a wider memory bus (320 vs 256) more CUs on the GPU and probablly the biggest thing: only the series X (and S) have true RDNA 2. PS5 uses a modified version of RDNA 1.5 that added a couple RDNA 2 APIs but then just called it RDNA 2. It’s more like RDNA 1.5+.

the people that don't want this deal to happen will a) have to accept that its going to happen and b) have to acknowledge it probably won't impact them in any significant, noticeable way. the biggest difference will be that COD will be on GamePass. Sony had a chance to do the same thing with PS+ but chose to act like spoiled brats instead.

It pretty much walks you through almost all of this in the onboarding and documentation. Games with eye tracking tell you about eye tracking (gaze). Pretty hard to miss any of this, so you’d have to be pretty oblivious to NOT know this stuff.
Or…. They could move on from yet another super hero game and try something else….
Good. Competition should drive the prices down. I prefer the series x’s method for storage expansion as it’s dead simple and hot swappable, but the lack of competition has left the cost a bit high.
