Not sure here but when I work on movies or commercials, each studio that contributed would only have so many slots for credits. For example studio a gets 10 credit slots and studio b gets 6 (usually related to the amount and level of work they contributed). So they would have to choose the people that did the most work or the most important work within each studio. I assume it’s a similar situation here. Sony was wrong to give halfassed support to vita. It’s their own fault. That being said, Nintendo has a diehard following and pc is the largest sector in gaming so the steam deck automatically has the upper hand for any non-Nintendo handheld. Even Microsoft knows this. That’s why MS put their eggs in the cloud streaming basket so you can just use your phone or tablet. I honestly think as 5g grows, handhelds in general won’t matter anymore. Any device with a wifi or 5g connection can be a hand...

Sure… doesn’t really mean anything tho. They also said the PS5 would be outselling series s|x by at least 2:1 by now too and that hasn’t happened. The adoption rate of the original psvr was less than 10% of PS4 owners and psvr2 is even more expensive than the ps5 and so far has shown No overwhelmingly must have games so I’ll believe it when I see it. I think psvr2 will end up like the Vita or worse. vr in general is already a hard sell to anyone who isn’t a diehard.

Yup cuz Sony, the great worrier of making sure gamers have access to games, has blocked it from being released on Xbox - which was recently confirmed as fact.
Digital sales are up year over year and physical are down year over year. Manufacturing and distribution costs are also reduced when doing a digital only launch. Most people care more about the game than the format it comes in so your comment doesn’t make sense at financial or sales perspectives relative to the distributor. The game will also be day one on game pass which gives 29 million people an easy entry point to get into the game.

I forgot to mention A Plague Tale: Requiem was also another day 1 game on Gamepass this year.
I own a ps5 and a series x. I am a subscriber to PS plus premium and gamepass, and I agree with article. PS plus definitely has more games but us most of it old stuff I’d have to stream, but can’t stream to a mobile device. Gamepass on the other hand is more flexible with more ways to play and is also simpler and less confusing. All games run natively (unless you choose to stream for accessibility).

I was actually fine with this game and don’t really understand why people are so mad at it. Its simplicity is refreshing imo. It’s not the best game ever but I personally had fun with it. It kept me entertained, looks great, sounds great and I felt it made my series s flex a bit / not many games have done that.
I think people had expectations on what they wanted or thought this game would be and couldn’t change gears when it wasn’t that.

depends for me. for racing games and competitive fps games like COD or Halo i prefer 60/120. for games like callisto or deadspace, more cinematic type games - i sometimes prefer 30fps because it makes it feel more movie like - especially if theres lots of motion blur.
