One or two games to choose from? Are you crazy? Hundreds of games release for the 360 every year (exclusives, multiplatforms, Arcade, Kinect, indie) more than for any other console. And almost all the multiplatform games sell more on the 360 and almost all the exclusives sell more than the PS3's exclusives.
Braid, Castle Crashers, LIMBO...
You guys must love those hand-me-downs.
LIMBO is almost a year old game.
Despite a lack of exclusives, the 360 outsold the PS3 2.7 million to 2.1 million units in Q1 2011.
You can't disagree with those two facts either.
Well, I guess a few devs making mediocre 360 exclusives would be good. The 360 already has the same number of AAA exclusives as the PS3, but if we can pad the list with a bunch of mediocre exclusives like in all the PS3 exclusive lists then both consoles would have the same number of exclusives! Bring on the mediocre no-name 360 exclusives just like the ones in the PS3 lists!
@WhiteLightning
What?! I'm not sure you know which website you're on. This is the place where Sony has God-level status no matter how horribly they f*** everything up or remain in last place.
@Zir0
Just ignore them. They are pathetic human beings who will try to make Microsoft look bad even when they are donating to charity. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess.
Mindblowing!
Fastest game ever to 1 million pre-orders, and that includes multiplatform games. I CANNOT F***ING WAIT!!!!
@jidery: "The reason exclusive PS3 shooters don't sell as well is because we have more than one."
Wow, and here I thought the 360 was always known as the "shooter box" for having the most shooter games and shooter fans, and now apparently it only has one shooter. Interesting...
It comes off as really desperate when you try to write off the PS3's poor software sales by saying PS3 owners have too many games to play. Absolutely pathet...
@buckley
And the only AAA exclusives the PS3 gets are God of War, Uncharted, and LittleBigPlanet. The rest score well out of AAA range. And what are all these "so many AAA" games Microsoft supposedly let get away? I'd love to hear them! And let's not hear games that were already on the PC as well and were never really exclusive to the Xbox 360.
And that one is far outselling the other two in worldwide sales in 2011. Gamers clearly don't care about these imaginary exclusive lists. They buy the console to play games, be they exclusive, multiplatform, Aracade, Kinect, indie... who the hell cares?
Current Americas Pre-orders:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) - 388,667
Battlefield 3 (X360) - 184,552
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) - 178,983
Battlefield 3 (PS3) - 103,778

The Gears of War 3 beta ran almost perfectly. I played it from April 15 - May 15 and never had any issues.
They're not doing a very good job at "Phase 2", since the Xbox 360 sees more releases every year than any other console, be they exclusive, multiplatform, console exclusive, Kinect, Arcade, indie, you name it. It's simply a fact that the 360 sees the most releases.
It has an 83 on Metacritic, compared to the first Infamous which has an 85, so the general consensus seems to be "No, it is not better than the first one" unless standards have risen so much in the last 2 years that today an 83 is better than an 85 from 2009.
Gears is in September, actually.
@Just_The_Truth: "wow i can't think of one ps3 exclusive that's gone multiplatform unlike bioshock & ME2."
Could have sworn they were both on the PC too, but oh well.
Why on Earth would you buy two copies of the same game?
@sdtarm
You're making no sense...
Gears 3 is not only pre-ordering higher than Reach, it's pre-ordering higher than Reach, Black Ops (360), and Black Ops (PS3) all combined at the same point before their respective releases.
viceroy400: "because the common 360 "gamer" is an idiot who plays nothing but gear cod or halo! Think im lieing?? Next time you look at your friends list take to account what games they are playing!"
