The only people that seemed to be concerned with the 360 version's multiple discs are the PS3 fanboys.
Weird, huh?
GTA IV's Liberty City is the most meticulously detailed city I have ever seen in an open world game. A single block in GTA IV has more detail than some other games' entire cities. The developers put so much love and care into crafting the city, it's truly amazing. Liberty City feels so alive, it has character and it seems to even have its own culture.
Everything's interconnected somehow. You drive down the street and see a billboard for a show. Then you turn o...
What a disaster!
And people were comparing Gears and Uncharted for sales this holiday season... Gears 3 has 10 TIMES more pre-orders than Uncharted 3 in both games' biggest sales region!
You actually believe Battlefield 3 would be able to beat Modern Warfare 3 in pre-orders? How would that even be possible? Call of Duty's fanbase must outnumber Battlefield's 5 to 1, and MW3 is going to outsell BF3 this holiday season by a similar ratio whether you like it or not.
The PS3 actually has the least exclusives of any current gen console when you count them up. It might have the most in 2011 but it has the least overall.

You're missing Fable, Left 4 Dead, Crackdown, Project Gotham Racing, Alan Wake, among many others big ones for the 360.

@drosera1: "With that type of "thinking", a Big Mac burger must be the best food on earth, due to it's sales."
Who's talking about which is the "best" game? There's no way to know that until both games are out. This article is saying one is the "biggest" game, and the biggest game is the one that sells the most. Or maybe you could look at it by how much content the game has, but Gears would also win in that respect with a le...
This map is breathtaking!
This is so nostalgic for me. I have been playing Gears of War since November 2006 and this is definitely the most classic map in the series. And it looks so wicked at nighttime.
Gears of War 3 is definitely a front-runner for best graphics of 2011. This video really solidifies its spot.
Wow, if comments saying "the Gears 3 beta was better" are almost getting the same numbers of Agrees as Disagrees on N4G (PS3 fanboy central), then the Gears 3 beta MUST have been better. Coming in here, I thought that any comment saying the Gears 3 beta was anywhere near as good as the UC3 beta would get 10 times as many Disagrees as Agrees.
Here is the full list for those who don't feel like clicking through all 100 pages:

Oh, IGN. You and your lists.
"hereas the 360 only has 2 games out this year... And ones a racing game..."
The 360 has HUNDREDS of games releasing this year, far more than the PS3 when you count all the exclusives, multiplatforms, PC/360 games, Kinect, Arcade, indie, and so on. ALL games compete with each other in sales, not just exclusives. Two of Uncharted 3's biggest competitors will be Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim, not Resistance and other PS3 exclusives.
This whole thing...
If Uncharted 2 had released in 2008 or 2010, it would have had a small fraction of those GOTY awards. Naughty Dog got lucky and released in a year with barely any competition. Uncharted 3 has much smaller chances to win in 2011 because there are actually other contenders, unlike in 2009.
Xbox LIVE was $50 back on the original Xbox, FFS! Today it is the premier online gaming service, by FAR the most streamlined and feature-rich online service of any of the 3 console makers. Xbox LIVE costs money because it is worth paying for. The other services are not. It's as simple as that. If people did not find Xbox LIVE to be worth the money, they would not pay for it.
@DragonKnight
The only way you would have a point there, is if you had to pay $60 a year for each and every game you bought with online play. But no, you pay $60 a year for online access on every game and all the features of Xbox LIVE.
You don't buy a game and think "Oh, now I have to pay $60 more to play this game online." You're already paying for Xbox LIVE.
So this is the last DLC you get for free with the Rockstar Pass? I wonder what will happen next. Will there be a "Rockstar Pass 2" for the next few DLCs, or will we have to buy them individually? Surely there is going to be more DLC.
