It will be lucky to score above an 80 on Metacritic, let alone kill GTA. No main installment of GTA is under a 95 on Metacritic:
98 - GTA IV
97 - GTA III
95 - GTA: SA
95 - GTA: VC
81 - Saints Row 2
81 - Saints Row
And to kill GTA it would have to have better sales as well:
GTA IV - 20 million
Saints Row 2 - 3.5 million
And have an active community:

Gears of War 3 is the fastest pre-ordered game of all-time. It has more pre-orders than Halo: Reach, Black Ops (360), and Black Ops (PS3) all combined had at the same time before release. That's right. All three combined!
Here are the current pre-orders in the Americas:
Gears of War 3 - 874,000
Uncharted 3 - 72,000

No, you missed the point. I was comparing reality to the extremist views of people here on N4G.
And now the five most hated brands in gaming on N4G:
1. Microsoft
2. Microsoft
3. Microsoft
4. Activision
5. Microsoft
A developer of PS3 exclusives praises the PS3? Call the presses!
A developer of 360 exclusives praised the 360? Microsoft paid them to say it. (87 Agrees, 9 Disagrees)
It's a plastic box with metal inside.
As long as Xbox LIVE isn't down for a whole month...
Gears of War 3 has become the fastest pre-ordered game of all-time, outpacing Halo: Reach, Black Ops (360), and Black Ops (PS3) all combined (that's right, all 3 combined) at the same time before their respective launches. Now a lot of this is because of the delay, followed by the beta (which a lot of people got into by pre-ordering), but it is still a very impressive feat. Truthfully, I don't believe the game will be able to reach 10 million units sold, but 8 million is a nice goal. ...
Purple appears to be Kinect's color. I guess it stands out better. It can't be green because that is already the 360's color.
Yes, and with sarcasm you're implying that those two games are crap. Which is why I gave the previous response to your comment.
Now that's what I'm talking about, baby!
I didn't even know there were 20 reveals at E3 2011. It seemed like there were no surprises and most things were announced already.
Here's what I liked at Microsoft's conference this year:
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
-Tomb Raider
-Gears of War 3
-Halo 4 big reveal
-Fable: The Journey
-Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
-Mass Effect 3
-Ryse
-Forza Motorsport 4
-Minecraft
-Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
-Kinect integration into hardcore titles
-Live TV
-YouTube
@Oner: "Lastly they have a consistent provable record of putting multiplatform PS3 & 360 combined review scores that are low ONLY on the PS3 side and the high ones ONLY on the 360 side when the review is CLEARLY a combined review for both versions!"
Absolutely ridiculous! Prove it. If the game is reviewed on the PS3, they put the score only under the PS3 version. If the game is reviewed on the 360, they put the score only under the 360 version. If the game is re...
It seems almost impossible to have 5 bubbles on this site unless you are a PS3 fan. If you are a 360 fan, you will naturally have less bubbles.
Quote from the article:
"So we want to make sure that if you're playing it on PS3 it looks incredible, and if you're playing on the 360 it's unbelievable, sounds amazing and looks fantastic," he said."
Unbelievable, sounds amazing and looks fantastic > Incredible!
This is just a terrible analysis. There are so many variables that could skew the results. The number of views, the channel the video is on, where the video is being linked from, and so on. The apostrophe in "Olds" in the title perfectly sets the tone for this whole article; DUMB! Did a 13-year-old actually write the article?
Except COD far outsells Battlefield everywhere, not just in the USA and UK.
Who cares how powerful it is? The PS2 was the least powerful last gen and was by far the dominant console. The Xbox was the most powerful (by a much bigger gap than the PS3 over the Xbox 360) and in last place.
This gen the Wii is the least powerful and the dominant console, and the PS3 is the most powerful and in last place.
See how this works?
You're forgetting the incredibly low presentation values, poor graphics and physics, bland and lifeless city, terrible PS2 era driving physics, and the just overall shallow experience the game provides.
I bought my first Xbox 360 specifically for Saints Row in 2006 and at the time I thought it was a great game. But when GTA IV came out, it instantly made the Saints Row series obsolete. It's incredible how GTA IV was so many light years ahead of the competition. The ga...
