What a disaster...
I'm pretty sure the game will require Kinect, but will be played with both the standard controller and Kinect at the same time for an immersive experience. Just because you will be using the controller, it does not mean the game will not still require Kinect.
What it could have been? I'm sure it was originally intended as a Kinect game and it would not exist otherwise. It was never intended to be anything else.

It's just which are selling the most, and the game that is currently out is selling more than the number of pre-orders the other games that are months away are getting.
I think this is one time where all us PS3 and 360 fans can quit our bickering, put our differences aside, and in one collective voice shout, "Screw you SarcasticGamer, Skyrim is ****ing awesome! GTFO!"

Yep, Alan Wake is a crap game because it's exclusive to Xbox 360. But the second it comes to the PS3, it will instantly be a brilliant franchise.
